If you did't like the names of the 3 Wreckers in the next movie:

Roadbuster
Topspin
Leadfoot

Maybe you could always rename them.

If you were to rename them What would you have?

I'm thinking:

Topspin- Mirage
Leadfoot- Prowl
Roadbuster- Wheeljack (if he is actually the Einstein bot I'll think of something else, like Trailbreaker, Springer, Smokescreen or what ever.)

If you like those the real names of the Wreckers please do not reply to this topic and say stuff like...

Personally i think the names are fine since they are wreckers but i think some good alternate names for them would be
Prowl
X-Brawn
Sideburn.
After the RID car brothers simply because they are 3 similar transformers.

 

Frank, Howard and Jeremiah. It would be great if they just went ahead and gave them redneck names. And then go ahead and rename Skids and Mudflap to something worse.

One of them would be equally quick with his mouth and fists, and would be called Punchline.

 

I'd prefer you didn't pretend that you can control people on the internet, or have a serious discussion. And I never implied that my names were jokes, as I provided an explanation for why I chose them. Not to mention that the names of the Wreckers will more than likely have no bearing on anything whatsoever.

blue is mirage
green is springer
red will be leadfoot still. i like that name.

 

I was thinking those names too, sideburn the red, prowl the blue and x-brawn the green  

 

Until I see the trio in action, I can't think of better fits for the names. The Topspin bio is generic but kind of fits how Topspin has been presented over the years. For a car with loads of guns, Roadbuster is a natural choice. Moreso both are classic Wrecker names.

Leadfoot is the odd one out. I'll see what I think once we see more on him. But it is as good a name as any, and I personally commend the use of less mainstream names rather than forcing classic names on characters who don't necessarily fit them.

I'm surprised they didn't pull a third wreckers name to use as well. They obviously did their research and decided the Wreckers worked for DOTM. Perhaps there was a issue with getting the third name they wanted and had to fall back to a name they already had available.

So, I think I'll name them - Larry the Cable Guy, Ricky Bobby, and Derkoderbs.

But, I think Roadbuster and Top Spin work for Wrecker names. The last one I'd call Brawn.

Or maybe Armorhide, Brawn, and Warpath.

The list goes on.

 

Yes, that seems feasible. Although Leadfoot has always been a racecar name, so perhaps that was the basis of the decision. It still sounds like a suitable Wreckers name, and I'd rather that than something like Springer or Twin Twist which in all fairness wouldn't fit quite as well.
