    If it's an organic beast mode I'd go with a panther. You get both the advantage of sleeping around all the time like other cats but you've got the advantage of a dark coat when you want to just fade into the darkness at night. Plus all the cool cats like Panthro and Ravage have a panther theme. Just hope I don't get the crap beat out of me like the Carolina Panthers.

    If it was Transmetal then I'd want to borrow from Zoids with this

    Something feline, I think. Cougar, perhaps. If we're talking mass-shifting, an ordinary housecat can go a lot of places.

    That's assuming no fantasy/hybrid/fuzor modes, though. There's a panther/orangutan mix I've been tinkering with for a while...
