Fox is just another ungrateful bitch who got a lucky break,thinks her s**t doesnt stink,and will end up showing her bush on some website,drinking and drugging,or breaking the law to get attention when everyone gets sick of her bulls**t and will eventually go on some man-hater talkshow and start whining about being an "innocent victim" of the media.

 

Not the first time she said this, actually.

While it would make me a crap load of money, I don't think I would put ROTF on my resume as far as being taken seriously in Hollyweird. Just saying.

I agree with the first 2 posts, and will add in that she's actually right about having to prove herself. The only reason she's got a job right now is because of her physical beauty. From that alone a good career can not be made outside the porn industry, aand I'd so watch that if she made a porn

Another nerdrage hate-the-girl thread. Quite apart from anything else, she isn't really complaining about anything, in this example. Read the article:

"I have no idea about my future career. I just hope that I can still be working in 10 years. When you're in something as successful as 'Transformers', you can't use it as a sales piece for your ability as an actress because it's all about the special effects.

"So you do sort of feel pressure to try and prove yourself. I have no idea what I'm capable of. "

In a nutshell, she is saying Transformers is all about effects and not acting. And she's wrong about that in what way, exactly?

Talented or talentless (no idea, personally), hot or not (well, my opinion is pretty obvious), she isn't the first motormouth actor in the history of film - and in this instance, isn't even running her mouth off. Non-story, hyped by a headline which doesn't match up to the quote. Wake me up when she compares a hack director to Hitler again.

 

Right now she's as hot as Bay's franchise is fun - but neither are "good". The difference is that she might eventually improve.

...where did she say anything bad or insulting about Transformers? Why in the hell do people read quotes obviously twisted out of context and immediately get mad at the person who said them. If anything people should get mad at the dimwits who write these articles for twisting truth and reality into flame inciting spinned trash.

I'm not exactly a big fan of Fox's, yea she's hot and all but so are countless other chicks out there. But she really didn't say anything bad, she told the truth that the Transformers movie isn't about the actors, it's about the special effects. Something fans have been shouting since the beginning since they think it focuses too much on the actors as is. She basically agrees with the fan-base yet still gets roasted.

Ungrateful bitch or not, what she said is 100% true, so no need to whip out the pitch forks.

 

Maybe she's right. All these special effects ridden movies are hiding her true talent. Some drama oppurtunity might come along and suddenly, Megan Fox just explodes as an Academy-worthy actress. After all, Anne Hathaway started off with family movies like The Princess Diaries and look where she was earlier this year. Perhaps Megan needs just the right chance to prove to the world she's a fantastic actress.

Or she simply refuses to acknowledge the fact that she's a hot body with delusions of grandeur. Not sure which.

I keep thinking Bay's just going to let Mikaela die early on in the next movie, with how disrespectful she seems to be towards anyone who gives her a break. His blog post with the whole "Hitler" and crew letter fiasco tells me it probably doesn't phase him though.

 

Sorry, can't hate on her when she's right. She probably does have to prove herself for more serious roles (if she'll ever get them), because Transformers films (and I am a huge fan) are not the kind of thing that will land you a Shakespear-style film role.

(Edit: Jennifer's Body? Huge mistake. Look for it to be pulled from shelves if she ever does make it big in other venues.)

Edit: I like that Megan Fox wants to prove herself as an actress. It does show some level of dedication to her craft, but it's cutting down Transformers to say that these movies don't require much in the way of acting skills. That's quite apparent by all the nerd-ragers that continually bemoan how she sucks at acting.

 

You know, what she said in the article isn't wrong, misguided or anything. Its actually displays a decent train of thought on what her future career plans are...

If a film is massively successful it will inevitably overshadow the actors in it, and thus impede their future carreers. Look at Sean Connery, Bond had effectively killed his career after he left because no one wanted to see him in anything else. Or even Mark Hamill and Star Wars.

If she really wants to do something about it she should do what Daniel Radcliffe has done about Harry Potter. Go do theatre/Broadway. Get some choice meaty TV roles. Hell, Radcliffe went naked on stage for Equus and got rave reviews.

If she can actually prove her acting chops after the exposure Transformers has given her she'll have a career for life. If not? Well there's always the 'leaked' internet sex tape route...

People are being far too level headed and reasonable, this one could go the distance
