i was checking this thread on the movie discussion
    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-movie-discussion/515238-better-just-ignore-rotf.html

and i wondered if there was another movie you hated so much would you ignore it from the canon of that franchise completly, or you will accept its part of the canon?

i have so far no movie i hate, but if i did had one i would still consider it canon, cause like it or not its part of the canon

so what Movie you Dislike to the point of not considering it canon (if you consieder rotf non-canon or you try to ignroe it, discuss it on that thread) or you stil laccept it as part of the canon despite hating it?

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Fuck that took a while to type out.

And seeing the above post, add Spidey 3 to that list. Too many villains spoil soup-erhero film.

i ignore canon all together. really. especially when it comes to movies. i find myself enjoying movies and tv shows a lot more that way.

if i do not worry too much about huge changes or characters being played by different actors and what not.

i normally just take each movie, even a sequel, as it's own movie/story. that way if they screw it up in the next film, and make peter parker girl, or what ever, i'm not so pissed :lol

I don't ignore it, because it's there. The point of the thread is moreso that the film series itself benefits as a whole without ROTF, not that you should pretend it never happened.

I don't really care for actor changes and such. The real things that makes me hate a film are scenes that are unnecessary and just plain stupid (monkeys, hits to the balls), scenes that are so over-the-top that they make a fictional film and it's crazy fictional plot seem normal (nuke the fridge), and lastly, a shitty story (ALIENS! No treasure :( ).

As far as I'm concerned, Alien 3 never happened. And neither did any Terminator film post-Judgment Day.

^Yeah, Terminator ends with T2 for me. Alien 3 however, I don't really hate it. I saw the special edition and actually liked it a lot, so it exists for me.

Other movies that don't exist to me include:

    Star Trek I, V, VII, IX, X
    Indiana Jones IV
    Star Wars Episode I

If I see a sequel I don't like, I wouldn't really ignore it from canon, since more often than not, the next film would reference it. I just not watch that film again, unless I really need to.

    Examples include Ocean's 12 and Pirates 4.

This. Although I do like Salvation.

I would add X-men 3: The Last Stand to the list for the same reasons as Alien 3. They disrespectfully killed off several characters without any mention of them again really. There were also some really stupid scenes in it. Angel didn't even need to be in the movie and he ate up screen time that could have been used to actually develop the plot of the movie better. As far as I'm concerned there are only two scenes in this movie that are any good. The first is the opening scene with the sentinels in the training exercise. The second is the "Grow those back" scene. To me, this movie is just a bad joke that the actors made for money and I await a proper ending to the series.

2 Fast 2 Furious is best ignored among all of The Fast and the Furious movies, as it doesn't fit in the timeline. Yes, characters from 2F2F appear in Fast Five, but make almost no reference to the former film.

    -The Star Wars Prequels
-Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
-Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, that crappy Terminator show, and Terminator: Salvation. I agree with Nachtsider and Megabuttimus, Terminator ended with Judgment Day.
    -Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection
-The Lost World and Jurassic Park 3.

I ignore Aliens 3, big time. Now that Prometheus is coming out, I'm just consider the trilogy:

    Prometheus -> Alien -> Aliens

And that's how it'll stay. Forever. o_o Damn it David Fincher...

I thought the Terninator series was supposed to end after "Judgement day"? With John becoming a Mayor or something simular.

I actually don't mind JP3 because it doesn't mess with the story and seems more like just an "event." Plus, with the Spinosaurus, Pterranodons, and evolving Raptors, it gave us further insight into inGen's undocumented experiments and the extent of their genetic tampering.
