I would get rid of several figures that are quite sh**y(RotF Sideways, you're one of them). But, I will still do my best to keep them all, whether awesome or awesome crap. My collection is small and it's still under construction, so it's a long way to go before I get rid of one...

I haven't owned less than ten Transformers since 1986. If I ever did go back, I'd just keep those original ten.

Man this would be a toughie, less than 10? Sorry not possible :lol
If I had to cut down, I'd keep my Classics, the Black Primes, and my SG Decepticons :)

if I have to trim it down to 10 figures, I would stop collecting. 10 Figures isn't a collection. When I have a need to trim down to ten, I most likely would have quit already.

If we are talking about trimming lines, ALL my movie stuff will go, as well as ACE. Classics will be what remains of my Transformers collection, as I have other collections to tend to.

movie stuff would be the first things taken off display. actually in the process of doing so right now. If I could only display 10 like the OP, it would probably look something like this:

    - city commander
    - universe 2.0 hardhead w/upgrade
    - united megatron
    - henkei dark skyfire
    - henkei hound
    - universe 2.0 inferno
    - rts grappel
    - MP1 prime
    - g1 powermaster prime
    - g1 omega supreme

I could be very happy with a small shelf limited to those figures :)

I'm at about 10 right now, so I guess I would just stop. (do combiners count as 1? or do they have to be combined to count as 1 and multiples if displayed not-combined?)

    1. FP Bruticus (yeah I know it's really 5 figures but   )
    2. FP City Commander (yeah yeah, 2 figures, blah blah)
    3. Buster Prime
    4. MP-04 Optimus
    5. MP Grimlock
    6. FP Defender
    7. MP Megatron
    8. Classics Optimus with FP G3 trailer
    9. United Megatron
    10. Classics Mirage

It was hard to pick out which one of my Classics was my favorites but I realized if I could only keep 10 I had to be very selective :lol . I really wanted to put MP Rodimus in my list but he's been such a pain in the ass with the QC issues :lol .

    Edit:

Oh I forgot about Hercules since he's not done, so if I absolutely had to choose, I'd drop Mirage for Hercules.

I couldn't go that low, I don't think there are 10 I could get rid of now. I've looked over my collection and not been able to pull out more than a few, so I just keep them.

If I had to cut back, or just got board with Tfs, I would keep all my G1 (most of which are my childhood toys) along with a few masterpiece, leader Primes, and a few other Op Primes to make a mini collection. Would be REAL hard to do.
That said I need to get rid of some stuff!!! Tough choices lay ahead.

Well.....I've "triming" my collection many times.....and I don't know who will make the finale cut if I have to do it again.

I know Generations Wheeljack,Beast Wars Snapper, and RM Air Hunter are already/going to be in the inner circle.......but I don't know who else can fit in the other 7 spots.

Reason are Wheeljack is fun,my wife got Snapper for me after my first turtle died....looks nothing like him....but he makes me think of him,and Air Hunter is my only Japanese toy(till I get United Jazz.:D )and I love the mold.

10 figures? What's the point? I'm an all or nothing guy, if I HAD to I would sell it all, and then probably start again. Much more realistic to just keep G1 '84-86 though.

I actually said around ten figures. Doesn't have to be exact, or even that low, but it's been interesting to see the results!
