If you could pick any one toy that Hasbro/Takara came up with, but was, for one reason or another, canceled from being produced, to be made in the next couple of years at mass retail, which one would you pick, in what line would you want to see it placed in, and why would you want that particular figure made?

For me, it would be the unproduced Universe repaint/retool of RID Megatron. I'd love to see it released under the Universe/25th Ann. line. As for why I would want it produced. I think it looks amazing, and I like the mold, which I'm finally going to own in the near future. Here's a picture as a reference to what I'm talking about. Just in case there are people reading this thread who know absolutely nothing about the figure.

I have RID Megatron and it is a great mold. I think it is my favorite Megatron. That repaint drawing you showed is amazing. I would definitely pick it up. As for myself, I always wished that sketches for Alts. Bumblebee and Cliffjumper had been produced. There was a Kickass Cosmos sketch I remember seeing a long time ago, though I don't remember where. Most of all the sketch I had seen on a modern Soundwave. He was a microcassette player.

The Alt. BB sketch is pretty cool, though I still repsect Volkswagen. Cosmos looked pretty cool too, and was actually made into a prototype when it was planned for the Titanium line.

It is pretty cool looking, but I personally prefer Don's SUV Soundwave. It looks like it could be easily made, but, at least to me, the microcassete design looks too complicated, and would need simplifying if ever made.

Ummm....what does loosing Botcon rights have to do with this Universe Megatron being canceled? Not saying you're lying, it's just not something I've heard before.

Edit: Nvm. Just looked it up on the TF Wiki. Didn't know it was supposed to be a Botcon exclusive. Now a part of me is kind of glad it was canceled. If it had been made, I'm not sure I'd be able to save up enough to buy one now (I wasn't a collector in 2005).

Since I'm an anal completist, I'd love to see the G1 3-inch Titanium figures of Soundwave and Megatron that were never released due to the line being canceled...plus I have to think there plans for 3-inch Titanium Movie versions of Starscream, Bonecrusher and Barricade that they never got to either. I have all the others (Prime is incoming) plus G1 Prime, so it'd be nice if I could have the rest of the movie figures plus the G1 figures I would've loved to pick up the most.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to go VW Alt Bumblebee as well. Man that would have been a fantastic figure. And the Alt line will just never quite feel complete with Bumblebee.

The 6" Titanium Cosmos is a strong contender, too. The upcoming Legends figure (and the general crappiness of the Titanium line) soften that blow, though.

Your right it was the Titanium line, Thanks. I hope they decide to make it for the Universe line.

I remember seeing a transforming Titanium Shockwave somewhere. It was on a display shelf with some WWI figures. I was so excited that there'd actually be a GOOD Shockwave figure coming out, but double the disappointment when I heard it was cancelled.

Here's wishing for a Classics Shockwave...

    Go crazy kids!

My vote goes to the entire Trans-Tech line.

If the Hasbro TF Team ever decides to make another small filler line like the original Classics, I think they should do Trans-Tech just to say they finally did it and be able to put it behind them. And don't cheap out on the figures either, include those electronic lights and sounds that all the figures would sport, even at deluxe sizes like Starscream and Cheetor. Hell, I'd be willing to pay $15 each for deluxes and more for the larger-sized figures($25 for ultras, $20 for voyagers) just because they have the electronic lights and sounds with them. The deluxes would be like mini-ultras.

I wanted that Megs toy to be a reality, and RiD Megatron's toy rocks. That, and he would have a rubber ducky accessory, damn it! If only they'd pick it up and put him in Universe/Classics. :(

    Also, seconding Transtech.
