    I'd say Classics.

    It has the most potential.

Others tend to be restricted aesthetic and gimmick wise.

Plus Classics is able to span 20+ years of Transformer lore.

If I could only collect one toy line... toughie. It would be a tie between the Movie toys -- of which the majority of my collection consists of Movie toys -- and the new Prime/RID line.

I don't know if I could choose one. If I had to choose at gunpoint, I'd probably say my Movie collection, because it's the biggest section. I do love Animated more, though, and give a year for the Prime collection to grow.

But yeah, Movie. Always something I want.

In reality, it'd be too heartbreaking to start over after all the time and money I've spent (and am still spending) in my current collection. I'd probably pick up a new Masterpiece Rodimus, and just leave it at that.

For the sake of the question though, I'd probably choose the Generations line and its future incarnations. Potentially anyone from the past non-Movie lines could show up there. (Generations was all G1 though, hopefully we get a little more variety when the line picks up again.)

I only collect g1. I did try the CHUG but the designs started to get really bad and reminded me of poop with sharp corners.

I'd amend Legends class g1 and world's smallest to my normal g1 collecting.

Wonderful point. I'd say I have to go with this one.

100% G1 all the way. Accept no substitutes.

As much as it pains me to say it: this +G2 or beast wars/machines. However only due to a number things:

    -The large amount of figures
    -Action Master
    -Pretenders
    -Gestalts
    -The unique G1 Ironhide/Ratchet sculpt
-Fort Max (and to a lesser extent the other City-bots and Headmasters)
-The colour scheme of G1 Galvy toy
    -Neon in g2
    -g1 Sixshot
-Numerous non-fiction characters (most notably in G2 and BW/BM)
    -BM Hammerstrike
-Show accuracy is for noobs (discounting the first two year tfs where the animation models were based on the toys)
    -Laser Optimus Prime

If not any of the above, then Unicron trilogy followed by Movie 1-3, followed by RID, Followed by Animated (animated only loses out because of low number of toy characters)

Classics, Universe 2.0, Generations, and Classicsverse Reveal the Shield. Pretty easy decision for me there.

CHUG, no question. In particular I would buy every single Generations figure released and their United counterparts, no matter the cost.

I could definitely go for Aligned. I feel that Hasbro has really done right with Prime. It's not as simplistic as G1 or has overly complicated designs like the movies do. It's the right amount of complexity and it incorporates the best aspects of previous lines.

    Seriously? One line?

That would be a killer. But, I'd have to say vintage/re-issue G1. As much as I have loved the newer stuff over the years... nothing compairs to how i feel about G1.
