Ok, everyone here has had great ideas. Please understand that I have not had time to read everyone's posts. What are you all going to do about it?

I'm gonna reach through my computer screen and give you a big ol' bop on your nose. :p

Something that's always sorta bugged me about the movies is the annoying trend of jumping from the robot-on-robot fights to the humans freaking out about the robot fights. I'd focus on the robot fights.

Yeah. It's almost like how Kevin Smith described how he would do a superhero movie. Most of it off screen. :D

Sometimes the "less-is-more" approach ISN'T the way to go. :D

Ah yes, got to save some CGi money for D*ckbot the Blender guy and Devastator's testicles. Who wants to see Ironhide duke it out with some Decepticons when we can see robo-scrotum instead. -_-

    I guess so.

Which reminds me, these movies are far too obsessed with sex. That's something I would change.

    My suggestions:
    Lockdown is still alive
Grimlock has been in all the movies

Same here. If I wanted sex jokes, I'd go see any one of a million comedies out there.

How would you explain Grimlock in the first one?

instead of Frank Welker or Hugo Weaving, Megatron would be voiced by Idris Elba.

I think he would have made a great Starscream. He could have made him his own.

They need to make a better connection between Humans & Cybertronians. All the good & bad that come with it. I haven't really seen that done well yet in any Transformers media I've seen & hope the films can do atleast that right.

But for that you need likable characters. So make that the focus. For both humans & robots. Plots for movies in general vary in quality, but people get attached to characters. Who they are, what they do & why they do it. That should be their priority.
