I very much doubt we'd get a triple changer so what would you prefer:

    A Helicopter OR
    A cybertronian vehicle?

    My vote is for helicopter

I'd prefer a modern car to go with the updates of Blurr and Kup.
Helicopter second choice (but I already have the Evac repaint).
    Cybertronian vehicle a distant third.

triple changer could happen, I would gladly take a less than spectacular 3rd mode ala tankor(octane)

With both the Botcon and Universe version (which are already a non-triple-changing car and helicopter, respectively) there would be little point in doing a new non-triplechanger Springer. I seriously doubt that if Hasbro released a dedicated, new-mold Springer, they would neglect the triple-changing aspect. Especially since Springer's modes are so similar... his "car" mode (and I do use that term loosely) is pretty much a rolling helicopter without rotors, it would be an easy thing to engineer compared to, say, Classics Tankor. Though ideally, a hypothetical new Springer would improve on that and make the modes more distinct.

That said, if I had to choose I would pick helicopter. The Autobots have countless cars, but only a few helicopters.

Highly doubtful we will get a Classics Springer anytime soon, maybe after DotM.but anyway I have found a perfect stand-in for him till we do (or if) its Energon Bulkhead,to me he looks great next to my other Classics in bot mode, even tho I do wish he had come with a third car mode he is still awesome as sh**.So I say if you get a chance to get Bulkhead then do it,you will like him.

I also think a new Triple Changer is a possibility. Especially with the new "built in re-tool" policy in place, it's a no-brainer to design a combo Springer/Sandstorm toy.

For me, no triple changer = no buy. Especially since I have Warbot Defender to fill that particular gap. So my vote would be neither.

Agreed with all. The best thing about Springer too is that he can have one realistic mode and one that can get compromised (preferably the ground mode). And he would still come out spectacular

i'd like it be a helicopter. very few helicopter alt modes in the classics line but there are so many cars/trucks/tanks

i got warbot instead so i'm not worried if they skip it over

As far as I'm concerned, give him a good copter mode (doesn't matter if it's real or cybertronian), a functional ground mode, and a kickass bot mode.

Helicopter if anything, but I easily passed on the Universe Springer. I likely wouldn't buy one if it weren't a triple-changer.

I totally agree, except that I would like to see the Helicopter mode be the "compromised" one. I've always seen Springer as a MASK vehicle with a robot mode, and so a realistic sports car that sprouted wings and rotors to take flight would be the perfect update, IMO.

A triple changer would be nice, but I would be fine with a Cybertronian car mode.
