Dissapointed..............But im still watching the film with or without them
And I am watching it in 3D.
I will be happy. It's wrong but I need to watch them die. Please. And if they do die I will watch the second time in 3d so I can really see them die in my face. Can't believe I'm saying that. But hey they are stupid rude and annoying.
there's more, better transformers than them in DoTm
of course im going to watch it even if there are in it or not.
If them not being in the film gives more screentime to Sideswipe, Mirage, and/or Wheeljack, then by all means.
If they are in DoTM I hope they get killed off quick, but that probably won't happen.
i waie see autobots twins in film
I've said this in other posts and I'll say it here.
While I'm hardly Skids and Mudflap's biggest fan, I don't think it's a very good idea to just throw them in the trash, they should at least give an explanation as to what's happened to them, rather than just pretending they didn't exist. Of course a LOT of people will disagree with me, considering The Twins are easily the most complained about thing in the live action film series so far, but I just think these characters deserve a little bit of closure. Hell, Scorponok got closure eventually, so why not The Twins?
Also, what's the matter with just improving the characters? Making them a bit more mature and a bit less annoying, or even just having them in the movie, but standing in the background and only having a couple lines of dialogue between them? That IMO would be better than removing them completely with (probably) no explanation.
And while we're on the subject, Nelson also said that Jolt isn't in the movie either, but why couldn't they have written and developed a character for him?
Either way, I'm still seeing the movie on opening day.
I thought the twins were genuinely one of the worst things about ROTF. Not THE worst, but it was like the rotten cherry on top of the shit sundae. If they're not in the film, I won't be missing them. As it stands right now if they are anywhere remotely the same as they were in ROTF, that's a big killer. I will say though that if it was intended for Herp and Derp to grow up and actually become functional members of the autobot team, then not having that kind of development is also something that disappoints too.
A nagging want to know their fates much like Barricade, Jolt and Mikaela.
I never consider comics as in-continuity due to continuity snarls.
I would feel alright, they were never really ever important to the movie.
i don't really care if they're in the film, but i hope they don't get as much screentime as they did in ROTF, and in DOTM we can focus on the other robots, like sideswipe, ratchet, and "Q" (whatever his name is)
I really don't care if they're in the film or not. I would like to see them again, I thought they were funny in the second film, two very enjoyable characters.
But it wouldn't ruin the movie for me if they wasn't in the film at all. There's plenty of other robots they can focus on without them.
And yeah, I'm seeing it in 3D.
Does it really matter? <- good question.
If they're in, okay. If not, I'm fine with that too.
I don't care much about them, because for me they are something subsidiary.
But if their role would be actually important to the "plot" I maybe change my mind about that.
I don't care honestly, they are not the worst characters in the world
I can't stand the twins, but I do agree with this - movie characters' fates shouldn't be left up to the comic continuity to explain.
That said, my initial response is -happy as hell, because them being gone would mean more time for others, like Ironhide, Sideswipe, Ratchet, etc...
If they're written out, some explanation for their absence would be best. Or, they could simply be background characters - present, but not the focus.
