If the AllSpark is so wonderful and will bring Cybertron back to life all fair & wonderful yada yada?
How is it all new life created via the AllSpark was decidedly Decepeticon in the way they treated people. The new trouble makers being a pop machine can tosser, a face squashing GM luxury SUV & a x-box 360 or something all brought to life. The Nokia cell phone had an attitude problem too before getting blasted?

The only reason I could think of was that because a new, apparently instantly "mature" life was just snapped into existence, it came into life like "wtf?" and was scared shitless. I was hoping that they would go into more detail, and was expecting Sam to be like "why did you kill it, it was scared" or some other objection. But they never did.

Explanation from the novelization: The Allspark provides a spark of life to machines but does not instill intelligence.

Personal speculation: Random machines brought to life by the Allspark are little more than 'machine animals' and they act solely on animalistic instincts. I don't think it's too much of a stretch to imagine that the machines brought to life in the film felt threatened (particularly the cell phone trapped in the glass box) and reacted instinctively by lashing out. They aren't evil any more than a cornered animal that attacks someone is acting out of malice. In the case of Cybertronians, I can see two possible explanations: When a Cybertronian is brought to life, they start out the same way, but gain intelligence through life experience and teaching by older Cybertronians. The second possibility is that creation of a 'true' Cybertronian is much more controlled, with a pre-built body with the proper AI programs to provide intelligence as soon as the body is given life by the Allspark.

Not to oversimplify but anything created by the Allspark in the movie had red eyes. In the world of Transformers blue=good and red=bad.

Yeah, you're over simplifying. But the movie didn't really explain it, so that's the way most people will take it as.

It was completely explained and ignored. All tech on earth came from reverse engineering Megs. Therefore we can assume that there are leftover traits from him in said technology.

I see what you are saying, but developing a space shuttle from Megs' tech doesn't not have anything to do with personality traits.

We are talking about living metal machines. Who's to say there wouldn't be leftover traits. One chip is enough.

Allspark-created life would be like newborn babies: scared, noisy and 'naughty'. Maybe it isn't until these new Transformers 'imprint' on either Autobot or Decepticon 'parent' that they become mature and take sides.

    This has been done already

This topic is addressed in another thread.

Other then being confused by having to track two threads, I'm not bothered.

But other people seem to get cranky here if you duplicate a thread that already exists:

A good rule of thumb is to search for the topic (say, Allspark) to see if it has been done before.

    Here's the previous thread:

    About the Allspark cube

    Thanks you!

One flaw in that: the search function is disabled due to the heavy traffic. Just enjoy the conversation and let the mods do the moderating.

i remember reading somewhere that everything the allspark gave life to; their violent nature was due to the fact that they were acting on pure raw animalistic instincts and...

    GASP!!!

are mad that they were not granted a spark

The Allspark may be one half an unseen equation, one half to instill life, the other to instill the intelligence. That bit of it could be part of the second movie.
