I have seen the seller do this many times. He post a auction and if it does not sell he relists it at a higher price. Can anyone please explain this logic to me or do people just love paying Ebay fees for nothing? and the biggest joke is he put the cost up by like $300! Such a tool,

haha he is a member here, not sure why people do this. Artfire is rare and expensive but not worth that I have two pals who bought them mib for under $300

 

I could maybe understand it if he offered best offer and waited a little longer to relist. But I've barely even heard of Artfire so I can't imagine he appreciated $300 in the time from one listing to another.

 

Well if he is a member here that is cool but I still think he nuts as based on logic something is only worth what you can get for it, And if it did not sell at $999 why would it sell at $1299? is it better now because its more? lol... I have Artfire and got it years back were it only cost me a few $$$ as well but this is way over the edge dude.

He must have thought that people were too stunned at the amazingly low price to bid, so he raised it to something less paralyzing. Makes perfect sense.

 

Or he's just hoping to cover his previous listing fees if it finally sells at a higher price?

 

Maybe he had a bunch of watchers who didn't bid, and he figured they were watching seeing if the price would go down. Instead he made it higher, hoping to make the watchers go "Holy crap! I better buy it now before it goes up again!"
Or he's hoping to get those people who say "ZOMG ITS ESPENSIVE IT MUST BE TEH RARE I MUST BUY IT AND BRAG TO ALL MY FRENZ!!!!!"
Those are the only things I can think of that might come close to logic here.

 

Interesting. I'd love to know who he is here, especially considering he currently seems to be trying to scam Damon.
