    If Ravage or Scorponok spoke...

I recall Orci claiming it would be weird to hear Scorponok's English accent. Jetfire English?

Also, I always lol at the thought of Ravage fighting the Twins, only for them to start petting him and ripping up his spine in the process. He then walks over to Soundwave and says, "Don't ever put me up against those fools again - my intelligence is not to be wasted! Meow." All in a British accent.

What would the Beasts sound like? Thoughts?

Ravage should talk in LOLcat speak. With a voice identical to Stitch's from 'Lilo and Stitch'.

Ravage as he did in Beast Wars, with a deadly Russian accent.

Scorpy ala Beast Wars Inferno, without the "My Queen" & "For the Royalty!" commentary.

When I read the G1 comics, I "hear" Ravage's voice as Frank Welker's Ravage voice, which only shows up once in the "More Than Meets the Eye" 3-parter. I don't think Ravage speaks again. It's actually a pretty cool voice, one that Frank hasn't used again for any other character in any other series (that I'm aware of, anyway).

I suppose it also makes sense to hear Ravage speak with his BW Russian accent, but in my opinion that voice is too intelligent and dignified to come out of an animal-shaped creature. Makes more sense to have that voice come out of a reformatted, anthropomorphic Ravage.

If Ravage was to speak I think it would be a very cool nod to give him the same voice he had in Beast Wars. The films aren't meant to be just G1 so it would be cool to get nods to other series.

Scorpie, I don't know I've never really thought about it. Maybe he could sound like Waspinator since he's one of the few bots that can take a good deal of damage only to come back later on.

I kind of liked it better that they were incapable of human speech, but could probably transmit data or communicate through other means to other transformers.

If Ravage talked, he'd probably be all like "Ow my spine!"

Yeah I think of a talking Ravage with a Russian sounding voice. As for Scorpnok I think of something like BM Tankor.

Scorponok would be voiced by Chris Rock.

Ravage would be voiced by Randal from Monsters Inc.

    I agree with this.

Though, if Ravage were to speak, I would rather have him sound very dark and menacing.

Ah, it's refreshing to find people who understand this.

Ravage would sound either like he did in BW or in LOLspeak (as a stark contrast to his deadly nature), and I honestly don't know about Scorponok. Maybe like Trypticon was implied to sound in The War Within? Like an upper-class British gentleman? I don't know.

I think Ravage should sound like Sean Connery! But with a deeper voice with some reverb added.

I think Bill Cosby would be a suitable voice for Ravage.

    These would amuse me:

Scorponok: Peter Lorre (if he were still alive)
    Ravage: Eartha Kitt (ditto)

i like that they can't talk actually - the non-humanoid transformers are interesting.

although clearly if ravage spoke, it'd have to be with a polished russian accent,

Ravage: Speaks low and deep with a light hiss and drags out words like, "Youuuu willlll dieeeee".

Scorponok: Combine Blurr, Stitch, and add a sugar high.
