hasbro said that TFP is going to be educational so the best way to do that is to have the special teams. dinobots=dinosaurs, technobots=electricity. those two are certainly the best picks for education, your thoughts and suggestions on other teams?

Shows with an 'educational' label can just mean they are teaching kids valuable life lessons, not just factual data. I assume they could argue Prime could teach kids about the value of teamwork, people who do bad things lose in the end, and other moral things like that.

Oh no! It's G.I. Joe and He Man all over again where they have to have some lame-ass lesson at the end of each episode! Well hopefully not for this show.

The vast majority of kids shows have some sort of educational property to them. It's just a matter of how much direct focus they put on it that will affect the show. Hopefully they go more suttle with TFP.

well i learned that if i inject myself with dark energon I can summon robotic zombies.

or maybe i'll just die, who knows.

i think having that Raf kid will be an easy way to explain how certain modern technological devices work if he's gotta explain something to Miko, Jack or....Bulkhead.

it would be informative and still remain pertinent as long as the educational bits don't get too long winded.

    Ebay:
A combiner made of calculators or computers.

A city-former style bot that is a college.

Beast Wars style Smoky the Bear transformer.

The Alpha-Bots. Mini Con style bots that teach you to spell and turn into things like Speak and Spell.

    These are IDEAS people!

Judging by the 5 parter I wouldn;t worry too much about the educational aspect impairing the show at all.

From what we've heard and seen of the show, it's about what it means to be a Prime. Therefore, it probably has to do with living up to who you are, meeting expectations, etcetera.
Also, how the hell are special teams educational?

Prime is educational if extreme violence is the life lesson - Laugh.

They're just life lessons I think. Most kids shows have life lessons. I bet Hannah Montana has life lessons...
