Something I honestly don't understand is if so many people don't like the movie forum, why even visit it?

 

The Movie forum serves no purpose at this point in time. I would support it being closed until the advent of a new film.

General Discussion would never be the same. D: I'd have to avoid the board for quite awhile in the even that the movie forum shuts down.

By logic, it needs to. But this place is just behind the Prime forum in entertainment factor.

 

Wouldn't bother me a bit. There's too many redundant threads here anyway. A lot of them being troll threads. I'll just stick to the Prime, TF video games, and non-TF general discussion forums like I usually do.

._. Honestly, once this sub-forum is gone... I'd probably be bitching about the Prime forum, because it is just as terribad.

 

I would probably go about my life as per usual.   The amount of headaches I'd get over reading stupid posts would decrease and my keyboard would experience less wear-and-tear. Although, I'd probably have a couple extra free minutes every day now that I wouldn't be reading through dozens of repeat posts regarding topics that have been discussed numerous times.

I would miss the occasional rational thread in the movie forum. But as several people have said already, it's degraded so much over the past little while, it really won't get back to its "prime" (if it had one) until like, summer 2013 when teasers and photos of sets start popping up. The TFP forum would be where I'd spend most of my time if the movie forums closed.

 

Because the threads posted in this forum are fucking entertainment GOLD.

I would be sad as this is where I get my daily dose of drama entertainment, idiocy and hatorz hating comedy.

Besides, I doubt the rest of the boards would be prepared for if movie discussion was shunted out of here and into the rest of the site. It'd be like tipping a turd-full of toilet into a fairly clean lake meant for drinking water.

This is probably a workable idea. And if anyone made another thread about a movie subject it would just get immediately merged into the official main Movie Discussion Thread. Chuck it in General TF Discussion and sticky it.

 

Remember this people, if the Movie Forum closes the Movie threads will start popping up all over the place, and after what I've seen people say it won't be a good thing.
Like it or not, we NEED the Movie Forum.

I mostly click on "New Posts" and click on every title that sounds interesting, I don't know in which forum the thread might be. From home I visit directly forums like "toy discussion", "transformers general discussion", "transformers prime discussion", "tv and movies", "fan art" or "customs". Maybe the same with others as well.
