iF Magazine Interviews Mark Ryan (Bumblebee) - Part 2 Now Up

iF Magazine has Part 1 up of an interview with Mark Ryan. As many know, he voiced Bumblebee in the movie as well as acting as stand-in for final voices for all Transformers during the filming of the movie. The interview has some interesting behind the scene info on how that was handled...

Ironhide being done with a southern accent. What an amazing coincidence that was.

I don't understand why he's so important as the voice of bumblebee when he only had 2 lines. Anyone could have done that.

MICHAEL J. FOX FOR BUMBLEBEE IN PART 2!!!

He also plays Bumblebee in the Transformers Beginnings prequel alongside Cullen and (I assume) other actors.

I would pay to hear him use his Connery accent to say "What's crackin' bitches". Pure comedy gold.

I can just imagine the cracking up on set from the different voices...

I personally imagined BB with a younger voice compared to the others. Something to suit the fact that he could befriend a human teenager. MJ Fox would've been great.

So he was as surprised as us when he was cast? Truly, movies are made in the editing room.
