If Hasbro made a Marvel Legends CIVIL WAR set - who should be in it?

Considering that Toy Biz made a House of M and Young Avengers boxset, would a Hasbro Civil War boxset really be implausible..? If it were to be released, which four characters should be included?

    My four:

Extremis Iron Man - for obvious reasons; it's also a good design that hasn't been made into a Marvel Legend yet.

Penance (or Speedball) - this one sort of depends on how well the character is received in the coming months. However, given that he basically IS the reason that the Civil War happened, why shouldn't he be immortalized here?

Battle-weary Captain America - to balance out Iron Man and Penance. And, since there's not a new design to update the figure with, battle-damaged is the way to go (especially given how the series panned out)

And then another anti-Reg character...? Or an improved Iron Spider?

(I couldn't come up with a unique 4th mold...but, everyone else is welcome to post their ideal CW sets :) )

Whatever the characters are, they should come with pieces that combines to form Black Goliath. :)

Doesn't have to be four. Fearsome Foes was five figs. A CW boxset lends itself better to five IMO. Iron Spidey repack in the middle. Cap and IM obviously. I like the BD Cap idea, and I never got Modern Armor IM. And then another pro and anti-reg on either side. Personally I could go for a better modern Falcon, since he was Cap's right-hand man during CW. The Mojo series variant was close, but could be better. On the pro side, Richards makes the most sense, but that's kind of boring...and the FF are getting their own series later anyway. Tis a good spot for an all-new mold, I just dunno who it should be.

I think the set should include a recreation of the battle started in issue 3. It'd include a BAF of Goliath being killed by Thor; Iron man beating down a BD Cap; Cloak with porn star face Dagger; some Cape Killers; ......you know what? This should just be made an entire ML wave instead of a set. There's just too many characters

    I'm compelled to agree.

But, nobody thinks we should see Speedball or Penance..? Really....?

Penance should be part of a new Thunderbolts set with Bullseye and that whiny bitch, Scorpion-Venom (spits on the Beyond! comics).

ROFLMAO! :lolol  God, that's so lame it's fantastic!

Sorry but I don't get Kickback's joke? My take would be:

    1. Capt America
    2. Iron Man
    3. Hecules
    4. Thor clone
    5. Penance

They should do it as a whole wave; Goliath should be the chase figure you have to collect the others for. It'd be fitting, since he was in giant size when he died. They could even do a removable section in his torso.
    Other figures:
    -Captain America (with attachable handcuffs)
-Iron Man (with removable stick up his ass, and halo)
-The Thing (wearing a Canadian flag t shirt)
    -Random B listers giftset
    -Angry bystanders giftset

The people who held Cap back at the end of Civil War in New York looked like the "Heroes of 9/11" and it's probably blatant on Marvel's part too.

I'm of the opinion that they should do this as a ML wave rather than do it as a box set. That way we could get Black Goliath as a BAF and he'd be a decent size.

Ohhh! Thanks for clearing that up and that's a good one by Kickback! I'm still cheesed off by the way CW ended.

I think a set should include Director Hill.

How about this: Iron Man, Battle Damaged Captain America, Speedball/Penance, modern Luke Cage and a Cape Killer.

I'd love to see a whole wave to get the Goliath BAF. Then they could do the five above with Penance being the variant for Speedball. You could also army-build the Cape Killers. A repaint of Iron Spider and a more updated Falcon or a Scorpion Venom would be pretty easy to do. Did Winter Soldier and Agent 13 have roles in the Civil War? It would be great to have figures of them as well.

The idea of a Penance variant for Speedball is very nice - it's a move I could see Hasbro pulling, too.

A modern Luke Cage would be good, too - but, given that there was just a Luke Cage released in the fall, I'm not sure it would happen. :-/

I think the Goliath fig should have a hole in his chest so he can double as a Mavel Zombie, and Clor should have a detachable translucent blue blast/thing that fits through Goliath's chest hole.

It would be a nice opportunity for them to release another Iron Spidey with some more articulation and more solid construction.

So...I shouldn't pick up one of the current Iron Spiders because they're bad figures?
