    Plot wise - no idea
Financially, with The Dark Knight Rises also coming out, DOTM would be screwed
It would, however allow hasbro to release toys for TFPrime

I don't think the overall movie would have changed much at all besides post production polish, and maybe length.

I'll tell ya what would have changed though is that we wouldn't have had half of the toy lines cut off at the neck in the past year (as far as retail is concerned at least).

We probably would have had more emphasis on TF: Prime as well.

I think the story would have been about the same because it's likely stuff that has been rolling around in the writer's head for some time.

Mikaela was going to be out because of the fall out between Fox and Bay.

Leo, the Twins and a lot of other things were going to get cut because the production team doesn't seem to want another film that does well at the box office but then gets savaged with a load of Razzies. At some point even film makers have their pride.

I'm guessing Hasbro was okay because the rumor is going around that GI Joe 2 will move into the July slot in 2012. I'm not sure if Hasbro would have been happy with Transformers and GI Joe in the same month when they also have to gear up for Avengers.
