Take a closer look, broski. Chicken legs... The IDW Whirl had standard humanoid looking legs, albeit, with his "skis".

Well, true. Many users skewered shitty figures into something awesome.

If you can make something good out of this figure, I will be very grateful. I was so disappointed when I first tried to transform him and found that there was almost no way to get something good out of him. Please prove me wrong... nobody will buy mine! :lol

I don't mind the chicken legs so much as I do the dolphin hands. But yeah I hate this mold.

    Valkyrie head, looks like?

It's just a bunch of ambitious design choices that weren't given the amount of QC time they needed to function in a deluxe mold. It's a shame, really...I'm actually torn whether this mold or HftD Tomahawk makes for a better IDW Whirl...and I'm tempted to say that Blazemaster wins by a nose...but it's a nose attached to a poorly executed figure.

Hurry up and do something, just to shut this debate down. I see the potential, as the IDW Whirl is chicken legged. Never owned the figure, but thought about it several times, so can't contribute to the thread of "does he suck or not."

Well, I've got one in my sale thread. I'm in Canada though. :)

I just went back to the early issues of MTMTE to see Whirl's chicken legs... I think this will work pretty well, though he will be a bit small for Whirl (depending on how you scale your collection I guess).

It's the fact that it's a floppy QC error. If that thing held together, he would be one of my favorite movie figures.

It's more his arms than his legs for me. I'm not a big chicken-leg fan, but at least they look like SOMETHING. The stock arms on the Blazemaster are awkward, horrible and bewildering.
