Less than excited. There's too much emphasis on the humans- it's more like "24" than G1 or the kickass DW series. After Escalation finishes, I'm only getting the trade of the next mini if it's HIGHLY recommended.

I used to love the DW series, but IDW stuff is miles beyond it. There's just so much depth to the story!

    Can't wait for this.

    Out now!!!

The new IDW series.......HUMANS, guest starring the Transformers.

Sorry for the sarcasm, but there just isn't enough TF content in a TF comic, this is supposed to be IDW's flagship TF comic.

Have you been reading this comic at all?

The humans are off on a sidequest to find Sunstreaker and Hunter with Ratchet and Ironhide.

Meanwhile Prime and co. are off trying to stop the Decepticons.

There's been plenty of TF content in this series.

I'm really glad there's some decent interaction between humanity and the transformers. Really gives the element of 'robots in disguise' the important role it deserves.

    Well, it got printed.

But Page 5 has a GLARING error - so IDW's reprinting them all. Old ones aren't supposed to be sold.

Oh god... please please PLEASE don't make Hunter (or anyone) into a #@%&!! Headmaster!

This series is really moving a bit too slow, and the character development on the TFs is actually pretty weak. Not that the humans are actually fascinating individuals, but I don't really begrudge them being there. Some human element is important... I don't like stories that only take place on Cybertron.

For now, the thing that keeps me buying this series is the G1-redux setting and the artwork... so I really hope they don't bollux up the setting by tossing Headmasters in prematurely, or focusing too much on the humans and that BS holomatter nonsense.

I swear, if nobody ever mentions "holomatter" in that series ever again, I won't even complain about the inconsistency. I hate it that much. :)

Escalation has better characterization for the Transformers than most recent robots-only-no-humans titles. Stop complaining about humans being in there. Humans have been part of the Transformers mythos since the magical year 1984, and no Geewun fanboy revisionism will ever change that. Looking forward to this issue.
