Hey guys. Do you guys know the chronological order of IDW's Transformers series. I'm trying to read them in perfect order but the spotlights are making it difficult
aw damn, id go for- spotlight- shockwave spotlight- hot rod spotlight-ultra magnus/spotlight soundwave (the events happen at different times during soundwave) infiltration stormbringer spotlight-blaster spotlight-kup spotlight-ramjet escalation spotlight-galvatron spotlight-optimus devastation off the top of my head anyway, lord only knows where spotlights- mirage and wheelie fit in+ i havent read arcee

Obvious though it may be you forgot Transformers/New Avengers 1-4 which could theoretically be fit in around Spotlight Kup as a tangeant possible event that may or may not have occured. (You know like on the chalkboard from BtTF PII, a skewered line that leads from Spotlight Kup to Transformers/New Avengers and all that fun stuff. )
Let's pretend that the Avengers crossover never happened. It had absolutely no bearing whatsoever on IDW's storyline, anyway. Spotlights Sixshot and Hot Rod are the only two Spotlights that provide no real clue as to when they take place. so I assume they take place around the same time as Infiltration... roughly.
you missed out Stormbringer. Spotlight:Soundwave has a referance to it (In past tense) So I put it before both Spotlights
Yes that Avengers Crossover was poo. That list is pretty close to how I have it pegged too. Just read em all! I am loving it so far.
I didn't. Infiltration 0-4 Stormbringer Spotlight: Nightbeat Stormbringer takes place in the present, shortly after the start of Infiltration. Only the flashbacks take place in the past, and they're just that: memories. They've already happened. IIRC, Spotlight: Soundwave only references Stormbringer in the cultists telling Soundwave what they are doing and providing some background on where this 'ultra energon' they used on Thunderwing came from.
