New Megatron design looks ace by the way. I think it suits him being huge, dark and hulking.

 

I don't wanna miss this prequel series, how do I make sure I can get it locally? Or is there a pre order site?

That Megatron looks freaking awesome, I would love to own that. As far as it looking too much like a Gundam, I think it's a pretty weak argument based on the fact that he has a shield-like thing on his left arm and has kneepads. Didn't Cybertron Soundwave have the same things? No one complained about him being too Gundam.

It's a shame that our first look at these characters will be through Magno's pathetic excuse for art.

 

Why do people think this prequel series is going to show us any of the new robots? We've had comics like this before and we've seen squat.

The ROTF prequels had the new Autobots vehicle modes on the cover, and they weren't even in the comic at all. All we're going to get this time is the same thing we get everytime - a bunch of human military-types talking about TFs.

 

If that's Shockwave.... oh man is he gonna be cool.

EDIT: I'm not sure what that statement was directed to, so I guess I can't say much.

Ugh, Carlos Magno? No offense, but I really disliked his art in Nefarious and Tales of the Fallen. The way he tries to draw all of the details makes his artwork really messy. Instead, he should focus on the major aspects of the bots. On top of that his line work makes it difficult for the colorist to ink it all in well. I don't understand why they don't hire Alex Milne to do all the movie work. His has been the best, cleanest art I've seen in a TF comic since Don.

In regards to the big Shocky, It's not at all bad. I'm very pleased with the head design that we've see. However, his body type is looking painfully similar to Megatron. I don't think the strong, steroid built body works for the Shockwave I know. I was expecting something more reminiscent to the lanky, thin Shockwave of Animated. I was hoping Bay's strange movie designs would work for a very thin, sinister looking Shockwave, instead of a standard built body. Especially considering how strange that the rumored alt mode we've seen looks. Regardless, it could always be much worse. It's not bad. I'm happy, and I'll probably be sucking Hasbro's d--- when we see a full render and a toy, anyhow.
