This Arcee was inspired by the IDW version of Arcee, yes the one where she a sheman, a trans…..former :) . Only thing is that she has a lot of junk in trunk. I think she looks pretty close to the alt mode in IDW Arcee spotlight. This is an old custom so the pics are not as good. Hope you like it

Not bad, Not too bad at all :) . Are they parts from Titanium Prowl I can spot in there? & her head seems to have a bit too much white (I guess it's accurate to the IDW-verse... :lol ) but overall, she looks pretty damn nice :thumb .

I'm amazed you were able to get the essence of that vehicle to robot with toybashing. you did a really great job with that.

    Thanks :)

I think this was my 3rd TF custom and making head are my weakest point. The head was astrotrain with some beads that you can get from micheals but the paint stick well. Maybe if I black wash it the detail would look better. I didn't use any prowl parts. They were from a purple gundam figure. I don't know his name though, and haven't seen that kit since.

Thanks.. this may motivate me to redo or improve the head

    Thanks

I appreciate the commet, thank you

Robot and vehicle modes are AWESOME. Love it.

The head feels "off" though... too small maybe?

This is a gorgeous figure with an amazing transformation. The shade of pink works very well and I love the finish on it. I agree that the head could use some work - at the moment it's a bit small and the paint looks a bit thick. Perhaps you could salvage a head from something else or have a custom one moulded? I know people on the forum do such things.

I hope that doesn't sound overly critical, since this is waaaaay above my ability and a really great figure. I hope this motivates you to keep working on it :)

good use of the TFA black arachnia mold. It could use a little more tweaking but it's already great as it is

Yeah, girls have bigger heads. If the neck was a little shorter, it would mitigate that, too. You should consider getting one of the ROTF bikes, they have awesome headsculpts, not sure if they're big enough. I never liked Arcee, but this is a good looking toy, I'd buy it, despite the back kibble. Really good choice on alt mode parts.

Will try that but I think I may just replace the head. I found a great Arcee head mold that may work.

No its good to get outside opinion and constructive criticism. It inspires better ideas, prespective and contributes to a better custom. Thanks

    Thanks Will do

Yeah I think your right. Will have to try a new head but I think the new head looks too nice, so I am going to try to give her a angier face before I replace this one.
