If this was posted somewhere, I missed it. Anywho, they're not up on IDW's site yet, but Comics Continuum has their February solicitations posted.

Of specific note are the listings for PRIME DIRECTIVE (the live-action movie prequel) #1 and ESCALATION #4:

According to the Prime Directive cover art, Wideload and Rollbar will be featured in this story, along with Bumblebee in his G1 Goldbug body.

(I'd include the art in my post, but I can't get Imageshack to work right now.)

Heh. According to the cover art Prime Directive is the Generations reprint of the Marvel G1 Scraplets story (hence featuring the Throttlebots) that was solicited last month, so I wouldn't read too much into it...:)

The Throttlebots were cool... better than the Firecons at least. :p

That Escalation cover looks cool. Always liked Hardhead.

Wonder if in the prequel comic the 'bots and 'cons travel in starships. :)

HEY! The Throttlebots are three times as cool as the Battlechargers. Because, y'know, there's six versus two. Um, yeah.
    :lolol
I'm also noting that Astrotrain's tailfin is both on his chest and on his back. Huh.

One last question: what's the meaning of: "cadre"?

Spoiler tags, please. Some of us are actively avoiding reading scripts -- "old" or not.

I haven't bought a comic book in about 9 years but I'd be tempted to get this since it's a movie prequel. Plus I'd love to see Don's take on the movie designs!

i was gonna say maybe when the movie prequal hit's the trade, but the Stormbringer trade is $18 for 4 ISSUES!?!?!

that's more than the $3.99 per issue that IDW is trying to gouge now!!! for a series that was $2.99 an issue!!! for 16 pages of Sketches!!! (well, probably minus cover gallerys)

    seriously, WTF?
