Huge month, folks! Those RiD and MTMTE covers are pretty damn awesome--love seeing so much of the LL crew there, and Bumblebee leading a bunch of Autobots into battle! It sounds like Megatron's the big threat in RiD #12, but I dunno... I feel like it'll turn out to be someone else.

And the biggest surprise here: the return of the Transformers Spotlights! Wow! Really hope they're back on a regular basis, and this isn't just a one-shot special.

Oh man, the RiD and MTMTE covers are fantastic!

    And the return on Spotlights?!?

    Heck yeah!

Not sure how I feel about "him" being back. Seems so soon.

    Whoa. RiD 12.

I wonder if "him" is who they're making us all think it is. Seems like an easy route for misdirection.

Only buying the spotlight since it's being written by James Roberts. All of these covers are fantastic!

    Meh.

Wait, it's being written by James Roberts?

I wonder if thats Grimlock in Scorponok's body...

Maybe Grimlock replaces Zarak as Scorponok's headmaster...

Man that's a lot of Transformers in one month! I love the covers for MTMTE, I burst out laughing when I noticed Ore, looks like I'll be having my usual "ketchup... catsup" moment when it comes out, haha. The description makes me think of several possibilities for this issue, and knowing Roberts none of them are right, haha.
If "THE RETURN!" is Megatron, I'm not entirely sure how to feel, it could totally be misdirection and be a different Decepticon heavy hitter though, shall just have to wait and see.
Oh, aaand Spotlight: Orion Pax? Well, it would be rude not to.

If it has Roberts name on it I will read the fuck out of it!

Is RiD any good while we're at it? I haven't read it but it looks kinda fun...

Very good, IMHO. Better than MTMTE at any rate. Both are solid books don't get me wrong, with great writing, but again for my money RID is the better book.

I got the first 5 issues when it was onsale on Comixology and thought it was great aside from using the awful High Moon designs...

Probably not; one of the plot points they seem to be tackling with Regeneration 1 is how all the original Headmaster heads are sitting around in storage back on Nebulos.

I'd recommend it, it makes a great contrast to MTMTE, the story might feel a little slower compared to MTMTE (not in a "writing-for-the-trade" way by any means, though) but with the last few issues -and the solicitations for future issues- it feels like it's building to something pretty awesome.

Agreed they're both good books but I like RID a lot more.

Love how Shock/Ore is in the MtMtE cover.

By the way, rogue band of Decepticons is likely referring to
    the DJD, not the Scavengers
    , right?

That looks to be Fulcrum on Roche's cover, so probably the Scavengers.
