really unexcited by a lot of their upcoming artistic choices.
the Escalation and Genreations covers are ghastly...

cool to see Mark Bright doing some work though.

Hmm, Bob Budiansky doesn't seem too excited about doing the project, but I can't say no to Don's artwork. I like the simplified, cartoon-influenced style he's adopted here.

The one-shots are a great idea, but having Furman writing them all isn't.

While I'm kinda disapointed that Budanski is basicaly just polishing up a 20 year old script, I have to admit he HAS been out of the loop for over 20 years.

And having lived thought the first comics run I could do without another Donny Finkleberg or G.B. Blackrock.

Still maybe spending some time with the younger artists and writers whom he influenced might get some creative juices flowing again. After all, he WAS credited for the original bio's going into the first 2 seasons.

So maybe once he finds his feet again he might be up to doing a few Spotlight issues in the near future. Hoist, Gears, Skids and Blaster were all characters who got extra attention under Bob's pen (although you could argue that comic Blaster and 'toon Blaster are COMPLETELY different animals, and I prefer jive slingin' animated blaster personally)

I would however not be as anxious to see him take over any ongoing titles just yet.
