So this guy is a bit of a failed experiment. I spent a hell of a lot of time trying to make him transformable, but in the end it didn't work out. The main culprit: the treads. Basically, if you compare the art of the robot mode to the tank mode, the treads are almost twice the size in tank mode. They'd be almost as big as his whole body in bot mode. So try as I might, it just didn't work out. No biggy, I think he still came out really cool. He's real poseable, his cannon is detachable, and I made a sword and naginata for him using clear styrene. Hope you guys like him too!

Also, this is my first project photographed with my new set up, which I'm still working the kinks out of. Bear with me.

I'm sorry that the transformation didn't work out but for a scratch-build he looks great. Well done!

thanks man! Looking at the pictures, my styrene work could use some cleaning up, though I do think the messiness kind of suits this depiction of the character. To me, it looks like he's been through hell, kicked the devils ass, and came back smiling... or he would be smiling if he had a jaw

It still looks amazing considering it's a scratch dude. Think of it as a w.i.p. for now. But nonetheless take a bow bro, that's great craftsmanship!
