Alex Milne is probably my favorite of all the IDW artists. Him and Nick Roche and EJ Su. They're all such damn talented guys!

I have quite a few of his sketches saved on my deviantArt favorites. A whole book of sketches would be lovely!

Awesome! It took me a second to figure out what this was reminding me of. The cover to Generation 2 #1.
So badass, and captures the feel of the current storyline

I'll definitely be picking this up. Milne is one of my favorites, and his recent work on the ongoing has been incredible.

Same, because Milne's style was awful until he improved recently. Most of the art will probably be his messy, vampire-toothed robots you almost couldn't tell apart from his backgrounds.

Seriously. And if he's improved, it hasn't been by that much. The art in the most recent issue of the ongoing is decent, but issue 18 (just a few months ago) still looked like his usual stuff. On the other hand, the most recent issue had a different colorist. Just look at how goofy Megatron's thighs look in the last panel of issue 22

    Didn't Josh Perez color 22-23?

As I'd consider him Alex's regular colorist, if anything, and the guy who did 18 an aberration.

Issues 16-18 were Andrew Dalhouse, issue 22 is Joana Lafuente

I love Alex's art, wonder whether other IDW artists will have the same published.

Milne's art just keeps getting more complex with stronger panels. His attention to detail is pretty amazing and he puts out new stuff all the time. He deserves this. The cover is awesome.
