I want to do an accurate powered up Prime. I have everything worked out except for the feet. I would like to use a matrix APU like Optronix did for his, but that will cost me around the $200 US mark.

I found a broken one for $12 but the prick wouldn't ship outside the US.

Can anyone think of anything else to use? They don't have to be spot on I'll do as much modding as needed. I've looked at Gundams, Bionicles and stuff like that online but haven't found anything close.

I'm not familiar with anything other than the movie line, would any other transformers do the job?

The closest thing I have seen is a star wars AT-ST walker but the shape is all wrong and it doesn't look very sturdy, I'm hoping there's a better option.

if that APU is still available, why dont ask a fellow radicon to receive it for you then ship it to your country? in the end, you would still pay less than other options :)

Have you seen Frenzy_Rumbles first impression? He made a couple of toes out of Gundam feet. It was pretty impressive.

The APU is finished now I only found it 20 minutes before it ended so I didn't have time to organize anything.

FR's looks awesome, but I wanted to do one thats accurate to the cgi, with the double knees and S shaped legs like starscream.

Here's an idea: couldn't you use TFTM Leader size Megatrons feet. With some moding and styrene I think they could become good looking Jetfire feet substitutes.

    Thanks for the ideas.

I just had a play around with Jetfire's feet and came up with this:

He's a little bit too tall but its a good base to work from. I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier.

^ That looks great. You could then add kibble from TFTM Meg's feet like Auceps Prime said. :)

I only have a TFTM voyager meg, you can see some toes off them in the pic. A Leader Meg would come in handy as I also need the left arm for my Meg.

I've removed a bit more of Jetfire's feet so he sits about 3/4 of an inch shorter. He's quite stable, I haven't cut any parts yet.
