The thought crossed my mind today about what Megatron might become if he is indeed resurrected. Well, we know that Hasbro obviously wants him to have a new form so they can make new toys, and we know that Michael Bay has been dying to have a gigantic aircraft carrier as a Transformer.

With Megatron lying deep at the bottom of that trench, anyone think there might be a possibility that he scans an enormous carrier stationed out there in the ocean??

...I personally think this would ruin the evil genius that is Megatron, but it is possible...

An aircraft carrier is far too restricting for Megatron.
That means unless he is always near water his alt mode is useless, not to mention slow and too big.
If he comes back and gets an alt mode it'll be some kind of aircraft.

Yeah! There was no mass shifting in part one. Unless you count the 1,000,000,000 cubic foot allspark mass shifting to a 1'x1' cube.

 

It's been explained over and over again, it's because the Allspark is the god-cube.

 

Yeah, I always thought the Mass-shifting cube was a big FU from bay to the fans, since mass-shifting has always been part of the transformers lore... but that's besides the point- I would hope Megatron would be to arrogant to scan an earth mode vehicle. I would hope he "scans" something from Cybertron-

He should be both! Have him steal Broadside's Triplechanger gimmick! Of course, with 'no mass-shifting' aside from the McGuffin Cube, that would mean he'd turn into a gigantic aircraft that can only be piloted by a really big Decepticon like Devastator...

Or he can just be a really big robot who has an Earth-aircraft carrier as one mode and a giant Cybertronian jet as the other.

 

Personally I think he would have to. He got pretty much pwned by the F22's with multiple hits from missiles - this after the scrap with Prime left him vunerable enough for Sam to stick the cube in. If he went flying round in a cybertronian form in the second movie - the entire airforce would be after him.

The cons were quite arrogant about showing themselves in robot form in the first movie. After finding out that humans have weapons that can and do hurt them - they will be a little more cautious in the second.

 

He could be something like a V-22, like his animated form. Which, yes, could be found on a carrier.

 

I thought of the entire movie as an FU from Bay to the fans. Haha!
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Micheal Bay can't direct. His one good movie the was The Rock.

 

it was folding in on itself not mass shifting and if you want to get technical he said the transformers would not mass shift not the cube the cube is not a transformer it is a transformer artifact

 

He's gonna be a zamboni with an antimatter cannon.

 

I he is going to have new body he needs to be multiple changer between beast, missile launcher and bomber.

That way he could turn into an ultimate weapon, becoming more dangerous than he was before, and it would be cool to have other triple changers as well, as the newest nad deadliest breed of transformers
