After all the ridiculousness with TFCC, I would just like to start a petition for TFCC to get paypal. I know they are not 100% secure either, but I trust paypal.

Please post here is you agree. Also if your part of other sites, please start similar threads there as well. Maybe they can hear all of us and do something for us.

    Thanks,

So when I buy something I don't have to get a new credit card. Pretty simple.

As much as I personally dislike Paypal I have to agree with this. They're a "necessary evil" on account of the fees but truth be told they're very useful for smaller retailers who can't have their own shopping cart and card processing facilities.

How much longer can the Club ignore the repeated calls to accept Paypal?

Oh right, this is the Club we're talking about. :(

This. I refuse to purchase anything else from TFCC because I have a feeling that my CC info just isn't safe. From now on, if I want a TFCC exclusive figure, the only way I'm gonna be able to obtain it is by paying over-inflated prices on Ebay.

So that's 2 online stores now on my black list - TFSource & TFCC. They wanna steal our CC info - they've lost my business forever.

It's a good thing I don't give a damn about halfassed repaints or I might have cared about this.

I'd like to start a petition to have the TFCC run by competent business people and have them stop overcharging international members and actually have a website that works.

Well see, its not so much that many of us "want" to use Paypal, but more so that its the only choice for many things. However when it comes to online stores, I've always preferred to use my credit card directly as well, but there's security issues that come with it, so yeah. Having the option's always cool.

Don't forget insanely priced shitty repaints...

    Ebay:
how hard is it to get another CC card were you transfer in money to. Really ppll are you that lazy you dont even bother to go to the bank and do something that takes 5 min.

But I do see the point of paypal but the above still applies since they so far dont accept paypal.

^You do realise that people have missed rent payments and other important things like that because they're credit card info was stolen, right? If the club took people paypal, a lot of this shot wouldn't have happened.

Even if they make paypal an option next year, I doubt I'm coming back. They've handled this credit card thing so badly, that I really don't feel comfortable about giving them my money. If I want the exclusives next year, I'll either buy them off of ebay or I'll buy them from a board member.

    Ebay:
Well if ppl were more experienced this would not be a problem for most of them.

If you go to the bank, you create a new bank account, saying what you are going to use it to (this can be done in Sweden so it should not be a problem in most countrys)

Then your situation would be like this.

Account 1 and CC = your primary one, this is not used online, except maybee linked to paypal.
Account 2 and CC = the card you use to pay with online.

All you need to do is transfer money to it when your going to pay for something. It is not rocket science, and it is upp to each individual to keep their own arse safe. Because this is not the last time a company will be hacked or someones CC will get stolen.

    Easterling,

While we should all be cautious with our credit cards, and you do have a point. I am going to look into this.

Paypal would help protect the buyer and the seller in this case.

Was your email and Paypal password the same as what you used for the TFCC? Because that's their fault too. The hackers took usernames, emails, and passwords, and then started trying them on commonly-used sites like Paypal, X-Box Live, etc;...

Either that or you got phished or keylogged. I think Paypal's servers are metaphorically bulletproof, so I doubt they were comprimised.
