Sometimes life sucks, sometimes it doesn't. However at the end of the day, you've got a working computers + a collection of transformers to make it all better.

Well to be honest, I'm pretty much the raunchiest person I know (one of em anyway), so I'm really not offended by the subject matter. I just wish he'd done it more fashionably, as to actually move the story along instead of condemning us to a state of uncomfortable limbo. I mean, "watching a guy bang a chick.", really? I am not a prude at all! I mean I joked about flashing my boobs in another thread, I don't blush when I think about genitals - hell, my entire career choice means I will spend the next 40 odd years looking at vaginas and managing the aftermath of sexual intercourse. It's the age of the OP....seriously at 15 he should not be discussing the watching of guys "banging" chicks! Were he 25 I would have laughed and made some penis joke, but 15 is like, so young and I guess I am bummed out that we are sexualised at such a young age. I am a decade older than he is and in that time things must have changed a whole lot. My youngest brother is 13 and he responds with "no way" whenever the subject of him having a girlfriend comes up.....at 15 I thought my BF and I were "practically having sex" because we shared a tub of yoghurt and used the same spoon. Holding hands at the bus stop and sneaking a kiss on the lips (we caught the same bus home) meant we were subjected to calls of "get a room" from our classmates. The watching of porn and joking about it just wasn't something that even crossed our minds back then.

Lol. I just didn't want anyone to think I had an issue with sexual banter in general. I am very much a live and let live person and it takes a lot to offend me. I was just shocked to find out that he's 15 and was joking about stuff that I would expect to hear from my much older friends. It scares to be honest because it seems like kids take sex and sexuality so much LESS seriously than when I was a kid, and I worry about where teens will be when my own kids are at that age KWIM? I think I am sheltered from teens for the most part, I am not exposed to their culture and can only go on what I remember. Life was different before widespread use of the internet, I guess.
It was a little different back in the day too, but in all honesty, I think I've pretty much been a Bob Saget since about grade 3, and I can blame a lot of this on a couple of friends who were the same at an even younger age. Then when I got into watching shows like Beavis & Butthead, South Park, Cheers, etc and of course when started listening to comedy shows & Mike Bulard on a regular basis... it was more than in the cards. Like, I wasn't watching porn in grade 7 or anything, but as hard as my parents tried to shelter me from the real world, it just wasn't gonna happen hah.
The fact that I am the only female sibling in my family may have led to a 'sheltering'. But I am not sure how that explains the behaviour of my peers though. I was fairly popular at school so it wasn't like my crowd was a tiny part of the wider peer group. I mean, we weren't totally sheltered and ignorant, we knew what sex was and we knew that porn existed. A few times we had blue mags circulate around the school and the kids (aka boys) got a kick out of it. There was sexual innuendo as well, jokes about genitals and boobs etc. We were not at all innocent. There was a line though that I don't feel like we crossed. There was no rampant sex happening and if a guy managed to feel a girl's boobs it was a HUGE deal, going downstairs was a feat worthy of the utmost respect (and slagging if you were the girl in question).....we were not at all desensitized to it, lol. Maybe I just can't remember what we were like fully then, lol. We were quite probably just as open sexually as kids are today, but I just don't remember us being that way.
