This is the video project I made and entered into the Botcon 2010 Film Festival. Originally, this video was slated to be two separate video comics, which, when I learned I would be able to attend Botcon 2010, I redid into this short film. YouTube - Transformers: Spectrum of Music - by Icespark - Low Quality Version The basic idea was inspired by Transformers: Animated Electro-Static Soundwave's Biography, where the bio basically states Soundwave pretty much threw Laserbeak away and replaced him with Ratbat. While this certainly didn't happen in the actual cartoon, it's still an odd thing to say of Soundwave. I've never made a stop-motion film before, and I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I made it, but hopefully, it turned out well If you have any comments, suggestions, or advice, please, feel free to post them!
I made a musical number to go to botcon too... it was supposed to be in a collaboration that never happened... so unfortunately mine didn't get to go. maybe I can do something next year and take it myself. my first too. mine also has lazerbeak in it. poor lazerbeak.... I'm glad he got help. YouTube - Domotake1.wmv
I just watched your video. It was pretty fun! For some reason, I found the spinning Bumblebee head extremely humorous; it really made me chuckle! I'm sorry that you weren't able to enter your video; I hope that you'll be able to go to Botcon next year! Every Transformers fan should attend Botcon at least once! I'm glad to see Animated Laserbeak got used in a video; the idea of a Transformers guitar is simply brilliant, and should be used more often! Now, where's my piano Transformer figure from the Marvel comics? Thanks for taking the time to reply, and for letting me know what you thought!
