Could be flashback of when the new autobots arrived.

 

Theory: Decepticon's destroy it, thinking it's the twins.

threory....the twins rescan it and get destroyed in the first 10 minutes of the movie and megan fox is driving them they all die right there....sweeeeeeeeeeet

 

I wouldn't read anything into it. Since the cone is gone, I would guess that they are merely props that the crew has on hand.

I highly doubt that we'll see that truck thing on screen.




But what I want to know is what is up with the space capsule? Are they gonna insert a digital ocean under it?

My vote goes for soundstage prop storage. At least two of those trucks are split in half, which doesn't surprise me as they'd have to have tried the "truck split" stunt at least three times to ensure a good shot for the movie.

And if the twins are the ice cream truck combo again, well, I honestly don't have a problem with that. The use of the combined ice cream truck was probably one of the better parts of the movie in my opinon.

Leave the twins as the ICT, stop giving them cool cars. They work the best as the ICT!!!



I look forward to TF3, haters be damned. Let's see what bay makes before jumping to conclusions yet again about anything.

Maybe it's for a flashback scene where they first scanned the vehicle. However, as most of you may know, the twins are supposedly "basically gone" according to Bay himself. I hope it's true and that they're only in it for one or two scenes.

 

"It's downgrade time" XD But still if they ARE in ice cream truck mode I WILL BE HAPPY

 

So, now we're being told that the Twins will have both their eco car modes, and the ICT?

My bet is that it's a soundstage, or at best, a flashback scene to their arrival on earth. You'd think in that case Arcee bikes or Sideswipe might've been around and landed at the same time/place.

Twins will be in the film, in their new black decos, and probably will have more limited time on screen than ROTF. I believe Bay on this. Much as he may have loved them, the studios powers no doubt may have told him to tone them down.
