my niece will enjoy them, so i'll probably take her to see it. the only thing i like about it still is scrat.
Ice Age is one of those properties where I think it started off good, but then it became kind of bleh from them trying to milk money out of it. Ice Age 3 felt like such a forced sequel.
Ice Age 1 & 3 are good, havent seen the 2nd one. That said, they are the my least favorite of the Dreamworks animated franchises and they remind me too much of the Land Before time franchise that was driven into the ground...
Ice Age 1 and 3 ["Name's Buck!" steals the show] are the best ones, the 2 is a little meh. This fourth one looks like it'll be good, especially since PIRATE MONKEY ON A ICE SHIP. DAMN.
Dreamworks never made the Ice Age Films, Ice Age was made by Blue Sky (same studio who did Robots, Horton Hears a Who and Rio)
I liked the first 2, only saw 3 once but thought it was kind of boring. 4 looks like it'll be a step up
I love the first Ice Age movie. I can still watch today without any major gripes about it. I didn't like Ice Age 2, but it wasn't awful. I liked Ice Age 3 even though it's far from a masterpiece. This one looks kinda average.
I love these movies, with the first and third being my favorites (the only good part about the second was the villains, those fish creatures). The only good things I see coming from this sequel is Sid's family (if that's who those sloths are in the TV spot) and the Pirate Monkey. I don't, however, like the fact that they have so many celebrity voices for this. It seems they really are milking this franchise.
I'm gonna be a total history nazi here but THEY WERE NOT FISH!!!!!THEY WERE MARINE REPTILES!!!!!!!!!!!THERE'S A DIFFERENCE!!!!!!
The first Ice Age is a classic, IMO. The other two are entertaining enough. This one looks... also entertaining, although the acorn gag is getting old. I'm calling it right now - the white tiger gets together with Diego.
