Botcon.com has a note on their front page that Iacon packages are no longer being accepted due to demand for the box sets.

    Wow.

    No More Botcon Iacon Sets!!!

Botcon web site just updated. They are no longer offering the Iacon sets due to the high demand, and are keeping the rest of the sets reserved for attendees only. They say they are going to see if they can increase the order from the manufacurer, but doubt it will happen.

Wow. This set is selling faster than last year's set. I am impressed. I was wondering if Pete is looking at this thread, if he could tell us how many sets were produced this year?

    Ebay:
Damn straight. I want to sell mine to children after I make them want it so hard that they cry blood.

I'm gonna make one pay $50 just for the box, and $20 for the foam inside.

Well my GF was going to buy the non-attendee set for my B-day...so it looks like I'll be paying Ebay scalpers in a few months instead of FP on Monday :(

There really isn't much of a point in having additional previews for the figures, then.

There is something on the site about the Iacon packages being sold out that struck me as interesting.

That statement, combined with the Iacon package no longer being sold makes me wonder just how many sets are left, and how many were produced?

Gonna be funny in a couple months when all the scalpers/resellers can't unload this set for as much as they did last year :p

Well, that makes my decision easier. Add me to the "wish I could have seen them beforehand" club. Goldbug was starting to sway me. Oh well.

True, but unfortunately they'll still make a profit. I don't understand why the fans support this kind of shit. It doesn't really get any more uncool than this. They're already preparing to pay scalpers on Ebay. Where's the fun in that??? I just don't get it. *sigh* I miss the robots points & mail in exclusives we used to have.

I'll admit it, I'm likely selling my loose set on eBay, and am going to help a casual TF friend sell his registration set as well. It will go a decent way to paying for the trip.

Go ahead and crucify me, I can take it.
