In this show, I know it's too late now, but I would've loved to see Scottie Ray from the 2003 Ninja Turtles voice Megatron. Think about it. Do you know how awesome he did with The Shredder's voice. Check out this episode and look at all the bits of Shredder while fighting. Listen to that chilling voice.

So, if only he used that voice to voice Megatron, this would been the most menacing and chilling incarnation of Megatron ever. What do you think?

An interesting concept, certainly, but to be honest, I prefer Frank Welker's voice for this Megatron then Shredder's.

Frank generally has TFP Megatron with a quiet tone, both sinister and yet quite casual, though certainly elavating or deepening regarding the situation. Shredder's voice is higher, more grated, and I'd feel it would likely suit another Megatron rather than this one.

Nice idea, but not my preference for this Megatron.

Now that is a nice voice for a megatron but I think prime megatron with frank is good enough. He can be threatning an sound casual, I remember before prime aired and people found out frank was voicing megs again ppl were worried we were getting g1 voice Lol

My personal opinion is that you are dead wrong. Frank Welker's Megatron is not to be surpassed.

My take in general is that you are wrong in regards to broader audiences as well (and I'm not talking about just this fanboy backwater).

His voice is good but It doesn't suit Prime Megatron. Maybe a later incarnation. It would be interesting to see Transformers done in New York imagine Dan Green as a Transformer.

I'd liek to see Clancy Brown or Miguel Ferrer play Megatron in the future.

I think Frank Welker does a better job as Megatron in Prime.

But I did find Scottie Ray's voice to be very good candidate for a future Megatron if they ever do another series that's not part of the united continuity. It might need to be tweaked a bit, but I think he could be a very intimidating Megatron.

Or he could play someone as chilling as the Shredder if there is to be a Transformer like him introduced in Prime in the future.

    No.

I kinda want to see John DiMaggio as Megatron. Since he does a great impression of Hugo Weaving & Frank put together.

Quoting myself because I just figured out WHY.

All the other actors mentioned can do chilling quite well.

What makes Welker's Megatron MORE chilling is that he delivers it in the context of a credible megalomania and charisma where the others are just chilling. I've yet to hear any of the others deliver the same (yet).

Scottie Ray wouldn't be a bad idea - I LOVED the 2003 TMNT series to death - but no, Frank Welker's done fantastic with this Megs so far.

Scottie Ray could be Bludgeon or The Fallen, I suppose.

As far as other potential Megatron voice actors, I wouldn't mind Clancy Brown (Lex Luthor, Silas, Long Feng, Yakone), Maurice LaMarche (to date the best Orson Welles impersonator), Mark Hamill (the Joker, Luke Skywalker, Eraqus, Ozai), Jason Issacs (Lucius Malfoy, Commander Zhao), Richard Epcar (Xehanort, WFC Skywarp) or James Remar (DOTM Sideswipe, Vilgax) as Megatron.
