I love TF Prime, I love the robot mode of Megatron, but the alt mode just kills it for me. My biggest issue is the visible head. If that weren't part of the design I would be content with it.

So for PRID Voyager Megatron, would there be anything I could do to hide his head in vehicle mode?

 

I know. I said that. And I dislike it there too.

 

Just got him today - and as far as I can tell, there's no real way to hide the head. Just part of the vehicle mode. It doesn't really bother me too much.

 

I think it's adorable. It's like he's piloting himself.

 

well if you can customize, you could just add something to the 2 halves. if not, pushing his head all the way forward, it minimizes the "its a head" effect

 

You obviously have the want for Megatron, but you do have enough "chest" for him?

^  and that goes for every transformer with vehicular alt modes too..  

 

I'm okay with it. Besides Megatron handles the Cybertronian jet mode much better then the 2007 movie Megatron.

 

I'll never understand why K/O/Kline thought that was a good idea.

I'd love it if Megs had to get an earthmode eventually.

 

I like that when you extend his weapon in alt mode, it lights his eyes up red. Of all the figs i have of him with weird Cybertronian alt modes, this is one of the best.

No, the bucket head design prevents the head from turning very far left or right.

 

You'd probably have to add an extra piece to the figure in order to cover the head. Otherwise, there's no other way around it.

He's close...

But far from perfect. I dont mind the head peaking up... Its accurate to the show.

My peeves are the small size, bland color, craptastic alt mode and gimmick cannon. Thats it. Otherwise he's good for me! LOVE the bot mode sculpt.

If he is ever repainted (Takara?) or upsized, I will be VERY happy w ol Megs...

Time will tell...
