Sorry, drinking on the train home, and wanted to share my thoughts! Hey at least i'm not calling you all at 2am to tell you!

 

I'll admit, from what little we've seen of him he seems less like he's going to be a gimmicky spotlight hog and more just a little silent robot companion. Possibly to take Bumblebee's place if he ever talks.

Then again, we haven't heard him say Chihuahua yet. Either that's been dropped, or they're avoiding putting it in any trailers because they know how lame it is.

 

Gotta admit, small robots with big guns is totally my thing. It's why this episode of RID was one of my favorites.

 

I know for a fact that the RC toy does in fact say "Chihuahua"

 

I kinda wish they never revealed he has that big ass gun. Let it be a surprise in the movie.

 

I think it's just for the toy. But i hope he pulls it out of his hammer space and shoves it in megatrons space face!! Boom!!  

 

That'd be hilariously awesome xD

 

Honestly, he's the aspect I'm looking forward to the least in this film.

I know, I know. Just, everything I've heard about the character though makes me worry he'll just be a cheap replacement of Bumblebee in a Fixit body. I'll try to reserve judgement for the film, but if all he can say is "Chihuahua", then I'm really gonna have to force myself through scenes with him.

That said, his Deluxe Class toy looks awesome.

 

That figure is easily my favourite of the new deluxes.

 

Speaking of guns, every CG toy image released recently is carrying a gun or some kind of weapon. I guess guns sell more toys.

 

Yeah it's a bit of a u-turn as they asked the packaging designers to remove Hound and Crosshairs' weapons from the images.

I'm glad they're finally giving the toys screen accurate weapons. I have a feeling that now Allspark pictures is co-producing the movies, Hasbro's insisted that designs are finalised earlier on so that they can use the screen accurate designs, rather than figures being based on out of date concept art. Which is a good thing, obviously 

 

We're going to find out that scene of the cons being blasted and caught in the explosions was all him!

 

Speaking of which i wonder where he went after megs tossed him like a booger in that explosion scene. Should have squashed him and made him sqweek  

 

Well at least he doesn't have hair and I doubt his voice will be as annoying as Brains.

 

Brains' voice was annoying?

 

A lot of people are gonna hate him because they're gonna feel like TLK is trying to copy BB8 and Baby Groot.

The only thing I'm not looking forward to is the Chihuahua bits. I think that's gonna get old fast. I hope he has that big @ss gun in the movie though.

 

I am neutral about him right now. I'll reserve my final judgement until I've seen him do this 'chihuahua' thing.

 

I didn't like the concept of him, or the idea that he only says "Chihuahua", but he was adorable in that motion poster.
