NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's the thing: I never buy movie figures. I don't necessarily think they're bad toys, it's just that they're usually far removed from what I know from my comic book/pop culture knowledge. Ergo, just not interested. That said, I don't know whether or not I'll be picking up the TF movie figs, but I digress. ANYWAY... I picked up Hasbro's Marvel Legends X3 Beast figure. Not a bad figure, just not my cup o' tea. BUT, I needed him... because of stinkin' Annihilus!!! Now, I know what you're thinkin', "But AD, for all of the previous 'Build A Figure's you've needed to get the set." Fair enough... but they haven't been movie figures, so I didn't mind so much. Now, I'll have to relegate ol' Hank to the "Hey, Dave'll Like This" drawer. All the while, I have an out of proportion Series 4 Beast. I have no idea why I typed this. I'm not even all that upset about it. Hmmm... I think I'll go make some mac & cheese now. Have fun, all!!!
Yeah, that is what I said too. Every movie character is somewhat removed from the original source material and the toys are usually lacking compared to the normal stuff. Though the TF movie toys are changing my mind. They look REALLY cool, unlike the X-Men stuff.
i like mac & cheese..... but thats not what this topics about huh i havnt even looked at any of the movie characters... are they that bad? goes to play with google ill be back hold that thought
The X3 Beast figure is actually one of the best representations of an X-man movie character I've seen, as far with how accurate it is to the source material.
No... that's the worst part. I didn't find any really cool Marvel Legends tonight (Ultimate Iron Man, Hercules, Planet Hulk), I just found Banshee and Beast! And you're right, C1. As far as accuracy to the movie, he looks pretty good. I can even see a bit o' Kelsey Grammer in the guy. He just doesn't fit in well with the MLs that look like they do in the comics; and the comic look is the look that I want on my shelves. I can't believe it. I'm out of mac & cheese.
My Marvel Icons sit at the table and eat Mac and Cheese with me. I got the Blue Beast in his lab coat, yay!
So you have one figure you don't want? I have 5. To get Onslaught, I had to get Abomination, Blackheart, Pyro, Lady Deathstrike, and Loki.
I saw one of those Beasts tonight clearanced to $13.90... I think it had something to do with the fact that his head had fallen off and was down by his feet. Wreckgar: Five ya' don't want, eh? Suddenly, I'm feelin' a bit better Damn you, dkrolickm... DAAAMN YOU!!!
I saw an unmasked Spiderman and he was broken in half at the torso and he was 7.50! Beast in his lab coat, he's my friend. I still don't know why I bought him, but I love him now! Speaking of Mac and Cheese, how about that Hamburger Helper Easy Mac equivalent with the little dehydrated meat crumbs, mmmmmm dehydrated meat crumbs.
Er, has anyone posted a picture of Annihilus? I have yet too see this bad boy in all his plastic glory!

Well, you could always just sell the figure loose. I've gotten figures from BAF's that I wanted the figure but not the part, so I got the figure by itself cheap. It really helped me out, and helped lower the cost for the person who bought the figure for the part.
I got all but Ult. Iron Man today. Couldn't find him anywhere. Yes...Iron Man. So I've got 2 arms, 2 legs, 2 wings, and a head...with no body to connect them to.
