The question(s) is how do these relate to Transformers let alone are toys?(If this post doesn't belong could a moderator please move it to where it does. Thanks.)

New management because the online search function gives you exactly what you were asking for? Really?

You do know a 'transformer' is an electrical device, right? It's used in alot of stuff, like...model trains!

If you type in transformers it will give you transformers...and how is 'management' involved with all of this again?

    :p

Yeah sorry dude, but if you think that internet search functions will always give you correct results you're in for a surprise.

My uncle would probably dig those train sets though. :thumb

This wasn't through a search. It's through the Transformers page(Home, Toys, Action Figures, Transformers).

they don't hand-code pages for every random toyline mate, the homepage will just work by returning documents containing certain keywords, just like the search.

Thought that they wouldn't but they could re-work the tag system so the right items pop up(the bike and party stuff doesn't annoy me as much as the trains and pool cleaner).

Remember Wal-Mart sells alot more stuff than just Transformers. Alot.

It's not viable for them to rework the system just so somebody can accurately find that one product, and that one product only - plus, chance is it works better for other products. And I doubt alot of people who buy their stuff this way really mind, either, as long as they can find what they are looking for.

All of these items are probably tagged 'transformer' in the database. :)

Why didn't you just punch "Devastator" into their search engine?
I just did exactly that and did not get the results you did. I call shenanigans.

    I know that

I'm not complaining that I couldn't find devs, but that many things not related to the Transformers brand(let alone toys) were in a section for the brand. Personally it's just annoying but if a lets say 10 year old went on there and bought it with his parents permission, he'd probably be very upset with a $265 pool cleaner(Little exaggerated yes). I mean I've never seen those items there before and I checked that section just the other day so it could just be a mistake.

It would be rally helpful if you were to put in the character's name, say for instance searching for Optimus Prime would yield specific results.

I have the same problem looking up Transformers on Ebay. I don't wanna buy a 5000 volt transformer. I do want to buy MIB Black Zarak.
It seems kinda pointless for a company as big as Walmart to rearrange their entire website due to a unhappy customer.

You not using the search properly =/= their search feature not working properly.

I actually think I'm using the search function properly. Sometimes I might forget to put in Hasbro or Toy's.
