So my 3 year old watched TFTM with me a couple of times over the weekend. He always sort of liked Transformers but he's been gung-ho about them since then. Today he asked if he could play with some of my Classics, so of course I got some down for him (none of Daddy's toys are off limits, provided I am there to supervise).

He picked up Megatron and goes "HEY! Why does he have these green wings? He didn't have those in the movie. I don't like him. I'm going to play with Bumblebee. He looks like the movie."

I had to suppress my laughter. Who knew a kid born while Armada was on the air could be a snob for G1 show accuracy? :lol

That's an awesome story. It's only tainted by the avatar that shows us the color MP-03 should've been. :(

or Classics Astrotrain for that matter...

or MP-02. It may be kinda hard to explain why Ultra Magnus is suddenly a white Prime clone since he never appeared that way in the series

Hate to see what he would think if he saw the REAL G1 Megatron toy.

Huge forehead and tiny torso make not for G1 accuracy! :drunk

When I brought Cybertron Munkee Optimus home, my 2 1/2 year old said, 'Dad, what's that.' I told her, 'That's Optimus Prime.' She said, 'That's not Opimus Pime. That's a monkey.'

I love her even more, now.

this means that our G-1 toys will continue to grow in value as the next generation will want them 20 years from now. NICE!
