I just have this feeling that a lot of stuff was cut for the sake of not having the film too long. I saw a TV spot home and there was a scene that I don't recall being in the movie though I can't remember what it was.

 

I had the same feeling. The ending seemed very rushed and I can imagine that's where they cut a lot of scenes.

I wouldn't complain if the movie was 3h

we're missing

the scene where the autobots get into the Xanthium
the scene where bumblebee gets inside the drone ship
the scene where bumblebee, sideswipe, dino and wheeljack actually get captured
the scene where the wreckers are actually cutting down optimus
the scene where optimus obtains his flight tech from his trailer
the scene where megatron makes his way down from the building to the alley

And a whole bunch of transformations which were taken out and replaced with cuts. First shot they are a car, cut away and then the next shot, they're already in their robot mode

 

they also cut the part where Sam actually goes to fetch Sentinel in Allentown, they just have him with Sam's group all of a sudden

 

exactly!! I always felt like, wait a minute, when did they get regroup??

 

you guys are a bit behind(no pun intended), but all transformer movies should be 4 hrs+...

 

Actually Sentinel drove past them, who were parked. Then they followed and escorted him.

What I really want to see is the Twins. And their deaths.

 

Some more things i believe were cut;

1. Shockwave's appearance in Chernobyl Seems heavily edited. He emerges, Stares down optimus, optimus gets ready to fight....CUT next scene is the driller retreating.

2. Megatron's arrival to DC. Seems everything in DC was cut other than SP and OP duel and the lincoln memorial.

3. When the first spacebridge is activated and the cons start emerging from the moon, there is no shot of a huge crater with the warships (the carriers) emerging as seen in the trailers. Seems as if they rewrote/cut much of what and when things happen in DC, WHEN the autobots are exiled, WHEN the chicago invasion takes place. We really have no indication that anything was even happening around the world, only in Chicago.

4. The ending/aftermath. Prime says he speech then CUT, blackscreen, Michael Bay, Linkin Park.

 

You know what would be funny, if they had actually cut out most of the Shockwave stuff and reduceded him to a background character so he didn't overshadow Sentinel. Like, he was this badass that hunted Optimus throughout the entire movie and beat the crap out of him in Chernobyl and killed some Autobots. Oh, and he actually said more than one line!

 

I'd say cut out the damn humor, it sucked. That Wang guy? I didn't even find him funny...

He had like 5 minutes of screen time? Could've been used for something else or at least let him get serious 4 of those 5 minutes.

 

They better make a director's cut on DVD/Blu-Ray like James Cameron did with Terminator 2: Judgement Day like placing back the scene with Kyle Reese.


Movies should not be cut down in theaters because their long.

 

I would like to hope that, but i have no idea why they would cut that...Shockwave shouldve beat down optimus in chernobyl and then left without killing him. This would get Optimus thinking "why didnt he kill me?" and "something is going on here." this is would have people thinking that Shockwave is the main villian and that there is something afoot (making optimus revive SP)....making the SP betrayal even more crucial. This would also show shockwave's cold manipulative logic...using optimus' good nature against himself (reviving SP)

 

Well they had to make more room for Shia LaButtfuck looking for a job, acting like a ******, his mom talking about his penis size, Jimmy Wang (or Mr Penis Ballsy McCock as I will be calling him since you all KNOW that's how Michael Bay wantet to name him) humping Sam while goidn DEEP WANG, DEEEP WANG, Sam's job interviews and all of the REALLY IMPORTANT things!

 

It would have been so cool if Shockwave had shown up in DC and beat the crap out of Optimus and then SP stops him from killing him. But before Shockwave leaves, he blows up the White House.

 

They definitely could have cut out Sam's job hunting shit and gotten rid of that weird Deep Wang crap in the toilet. Oh, and they could have gotten rid of Sam's parents.

 

Sadly Deep Wang was needed for the plot as he was warning Sam of what was to come.

 

I liked him but for fucks sake, couldn't he have told Sam some other way.

 

Mr Penis Ballsy McCock could have just bumped into Sam, gave him the files and whispered something along the lines of "Lies, everything is a lie".
