Popped into a book store during lunch a couple of hours ago and flipped through the Alan Dean Foster novelization. So I wound up knowing the story cover to cover and hated myself for that.

Made up for that when I stepped out of the store and saw a Sacania bus braking and transforming into a big ass robot 15 meters tall. He looked pretty thin cos the bus was essentially a hollow box on wheels.

The other cars on the road started transforming simultaneously. It was quite a sight.

I'm not on anything, in case you're wondering. 

Anyone else tried imagining cars on the road transforming movie-style, with all mechanical squelching?

Seriously dude, after all the hype about Transformers started kicking into gear early this year, everytime I see a car I try to imagine what it could transform into. Or who is disguised  

Cars and other vehicles have never been looked as much nor thought as even more kickass than this year

Bah, I've been doing that since I was 6 years old and loved TFs as a kid. So this movie is a "vision" come true. I guess the only thing was that, as I kid I saw them blocky because I didn't care that car seats and stearing wheels went "pop" when they transformered in the cartoon. I also used to think (when I was a kid ahem), when we were stuck in traffic, how cool it would have been for my parents car to transform and walk us over the traffic.

we need to pass a small carpark to get to the train station from our workplace... sometimes at night after closing we see a couple of Integras or RX-8s parked there, and if we're lucky, a yellow Lambo...

then my boss starts saying, "Hey look! Autobots undercover" (he's a Transfan, too) and we start talking about them transforming right there and whatnot.

I don't see cars transforming, but I get excited when I see cars that are alts, and in the movie and such. There is a guy that lives near me he has a yellow mustang with 2 black racing stripes, looks just like bumblebee.
