Back when it originally aired I saw maybe a total 7 out of the entire 30 something. Latly I was cleaning out my chests and found my figures from the era and got me intersted in seeing this completly. So if anyone would be so kind as to post a list of the episodes in order since Im sure there are a few out of order.

    Episode 1:Battle Protocol:

The opening alone already has me hooked

I've seen that alarm clock somewhere

Megatron just burst through a building! I'm sure that was edited given the time it aired

I dont know why but I'm really liking Prime's introduction

Anything is possible?? I want to be an astronaut......who eats firemen!

So this seasons space bridge is actually a bridge

I'm not sure if I like the fact that Megatron's actually trying to negotiate with the doctor but it's differant

Like that they actually keepthe kid out of battle unlike the Unicron trilogy

They're really trying to promote Megatron's 10 modes

Somebody forgot to lock the gate at the petting zoo, I'm really warming up to this guy

X-Brawn is actually somebody's car, there really doing the robots in disguise

Sideburn hitting on the red sportscar, that i do remember

    Measure your tongue

Now hes offering to share the planets energy with Prime, again differant

Listening to Prime gives me a warm fuzzy feeling, not sure why

overall great way to start off the season, i give it 5/5 for action and actual character development

....wow, I know that eventually someone would copy me but I expected at least it would be after I was done with G1...

    Hurray for forum famous-ness.

Ok because my main computer doesnt have the program to watch episodes online I'm making use of my time and posting two episodes.

    Episode 2 Explosive Situation

I love Skybite's intro, and with a mockup Jaws theme

There secret base is below a parking garage....thats either brilliant or madness when you think about it.

TAI is Teletran one's daughter? As if robots reproducing having genders wasn't confusing enough, but now there computers?

Sideburn's flirting with red sports cars still fun

Xbrawns an SUV, shouldnt he been able to handle the stairs?

The trio just stole hundreds of batteries? I have a feeling im really gonna like these guys

Does Skybite have a stealth mode? Don't remember that

Did they just say terrorists? Man I'm surprised how much they let slide given the time period when this show aired

Bandaids on Earth aren't big enough for booboos?

So Prowl's jet booster are like Prime's trailer only shows up when needed

Sideburn transforming his arm while drivings kinda cool

Not sure whether to laugh or facepalm at Xbrawns spiderman act

Why didnt Skybite transform and grab the bomb?

    Overall 4/5 for storyline

Episode 3 bullet train to the rescue:

THe trio maybe useless but there hilarious

The trains are conveiniently unmanned and empty

For a second I was sure Prowl and Sideburn were going to fall for the predacons bluff about safety first

So the autobots are widely known by humans

Again like that there really doing the whole disguise thing

How about we cover the entire track with glue!

So is Rapidun or Railspike incharge?

Does Megatron remind anyone else of Destroyah from Godzilla?

Wow Railracers much taller than thetoys would lead you to believe

Like the autobot bros comment about being able to combine

I think this trend is just silly to be honest. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I really don't care what other people think of something I've already seen and have my own opinion on. Thus, I ignore these threads.

Ouch Kickback, that hurt right here. *points to heart* I mean come on man, I'm not speaking for Jazzisback but I do my thread because I've never watched G1 before, and I believed that since the show is so 80s there would be a lot of things that I can find amusement in, and I also believed people would enjoy my insights (and I was right...Hurray!) into the show. It's not like I do my reviews just to shove my opinions down the reader's throat, I review because it's a fun thing to do with my time and I get to see a piece of the transformers fandom that I've never seen before and experience with a whole bunch of transformers fans.

Edit: Split Lip has proven me wrong about the trends...though my other comments still stand.

I really don't want to sound rude, but people have been doing this WAAAAAAY before you started, so I wouldn't count yourself as the inspiration for these threads. Mako crab did it with BW, BM and I believe Cybertron as well, all long before you started your G1 review thread. Also, that would, by your definition, be a trend.

Oh you can go at it all you want, I didn't mean to come across as mean and stuff. But you're talking to a guy who collected, lived, and breathed RID ... 10 years ago, when it came out. RIDFOREVER.INFO I might add. I don't even know who Jazzisback is, I assume he's the guy revisiting G1? I told you, I don't wander in to these threads for the very reason that I just don't care enough.

Not that I don't care about you (I will always love you) ... I just don't care about reading a review of a show 10 years old that I could probably recite backwards while standing on my head punishing SPLIT LIP's cat.

Ah, since I'm only been around for the month or so I honestly had no idea...also JazzisBack PMed me to ask me if it was okay that he copied my way of reviewing so I figured that's why I thought it was because of me and not something else. I will edit my other post accordingly.

Who knows? Maybe I might get off my ass and review Transformers Armada. Now THERE'S a show worth ranting about, IMO.

As long as the reviews are good, I say do em, any series. Very few of us are here because we love the newer Transformers only, we all like old shit. I wouldn't mind scanning over a review of RID eps here and there personally. Reading a 10 page in depth for every ep, no. Quick read, sure.

I like these review threads myself, because they're usually funny, informative, or just fun to relive certain aspects of series.
