I said a long time ago that i did'nt like ROTF but i have to recend on what i said, when i saw it i was a little F@#ked up i just lost my job and was in a messed up mind state. I just watched it again last weekend and i loved it. Sure there are things that i would like to have happened, but so goes the same with TFTM.

How many of you have changed your opinion of ROTF?

But anyways, after watching ROTF on Blu Ray I enjoy it a bit more than I did originally, though I did enjoy it quite a lot originally. Seeing it in IMAX on Opening Day was just one huge wow, so I really loved it, the second time made me realize more of its flaws, as did the numerous debates on this board. While I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as TFTM, seeing the action in pure clarity and being able to hear the humor (I actually liked the Twins this time around, only Leo was really annoying still) made it a better experience. And watching the documentaries on the second disc gave me a new respect for how much work was actually put into this movie.

I like it more on blu-ray as well. Especially after spending 2 months editing the first movie, the step up in quality of the 2nd movie is pretty amazing.

Yeah after watching ROTF on DVD my opinion totally changed...

That movie sucked ass. Actually, I should say the story was horrible. All the mega explosions and action we're awesome, but the story killed it for me. I tried defending that movie so much, but I'll be honest now, TF3 has got to clean up all of these loose ends and sloppy BS.

But still, I enjoy watching it.

I like it more after watching it at home... all this movie needed was mroe time in the editing phase. A few cleanups, few lines of switched dialogue and it's more epic and cohesive.

    Nah, my opinion never changed.

I thought it was freakin' amazing the first time I saw it, the three times in theaters after I saw it, and both times I've watched it on Blu-ray since it came out.

On reflection, I like ROTF more than i like the first film.

i do FFwd through a good chunk of the college stuff and some of the hanging around doing nothing, because it's crap, but the good bits are very good.

I did. When i watched it in the premiere day i was upset and left the cineme with a WTF? expression all over my face. But then again, i wasnt in good mood either, i was sick, college was a mess, i had fight with my best friend, blablabla. But leaving that aside, i just didnt enjoy the movie.
And since i have it on DVD i cant stop watching it. ^^

I liked it a little better. I still wish Bay would be left out of ANY writing chores. I know he has to plan and he knows what he wants a scene to look like, but stay out of it after that.

The first time I saw it in theatres I liked it as much as the first one, but after thinking about it some more I wasn't sure. I didn't like that they had some much robots in it and hardly got any lines and screentime. But then after watching the first one again recently after that, I concluded that I like this one better because it has a better story (I think so) and better special effects. Now I like that they have a ton of robots in it because that adds to the fun.

I was really disappointed with it in the theater so I really haven't seen since then. While it's got it's good bits the bad bits will always keep me from wanting to see it a second time.

Wow, May 2009 is "a long time ago"?? Does that make 10 years ago "forever"?

After seeing ROTF on opening day, I hated it. But I was tired and my knee was having one of its fits during that viewing, so I figured that after 18 months of anticipation I should give it another look-see while awake and physically sound. After viewing it again on a different day, I changed my opinion from hating it, to thinking it was okay. It contained several fantastic and even great moments, but as a total package it fell far short of being good movie that it could have been due to it being hampered by the many things that didn't need to be included.

I would like to change my opinion too.

Opinion 1: "OMG ROTF IS TEH AWESOME!! BESTEST MOVIE EVAR!!1! NO FLAWS!"

    Opinion 2: "ROTF is crap."

I thought it was great upon seeing it, then I saw it a second time. Should've thought twice before seeing it a second time.

So, 90% of the people who hated ROTF, hated it because of crap that was going on with their lives?

    Michael Bay would be proud.
