It's the California state licensing exam for Marriage and Family Therapy. There were actually two exams total, but this was the second of the two, so I am officially licensed having passed this one as well (paperwork pending). It feels great, as this was a very long process of well over 6 years including grad school. 3000 hours of work (actually, much more than that) as an intern, 2 computer-based multiple-choice exams (one four hours, the second two hours) and many years of less than great pay. But it's all over. This was the last major professional hurdle (unless I at some point choose to pursue a doctoral degree), so it's on to bigger and better things now. Hmm... how to celebrate this adequately... ? ?
