I had this sitting around awhile, the card was trashed, so I decided to open 'er up. I somehow expected it to be all oily and the rubber corroded and have it all crumble in my hands, being sealed behind a bubble for 22 years, but it's as minty as it was when it left the factory...I forgot how fun it was to wind these back and zoom them across the floor. When I picked up my Classics Bumblebee to compare though, I noticed the rubsign is of a completely different design. The original has very sharp edges around the insignia, while the ones used on G1 reissues and Classics have a very rounded design. Were the rounded types used on later G1 toys, or were they redesigned that way for some reason for reissues and so on?
