Has anyone ever seen this item?:

TF Transformer BotCon 2012 Exclusive Custom Cast Junk Heap Junkheap Head | eBay

Let me start off by saying I AM NOT selling this item nor am I affiliated with the seller in any way.

I was able to get this custom cast Scrapheap head for my Generations Junkheap for a good price and once I receive it, I'm probably going to paint it.

I want to know what YOUR opinion is on what color scheme I should use for each area of the head.

Also, this will be my first painting project so I also need some advice on the steps I should take when painting this I.E. should it be sanded, primed, clear coated, etc.

THANKS in advance for the posts!

For the mouthplate, I can only suggest silver or gold. That is the best I got for now. I don't know too much about Junkions.

Thanks...that's a good start....I like the idea of silver or gold.

Originally I was thinking yellow to match the yellow on Junkheaps body (and also the mouthplate on the original eHobby Scrapheap) but, I like silver or gold better.

Also, without infringing too much on the seller's photo...maybe someone with the skills to do a digibash can post one on here?

    Thanks!!

... well, that looks to be pretty high quality.

Man, if I saw that figure at retail I'd have bought it. And a Wreck-Gar.

The custom head does look pretty good doesn't it?

I need advice on how to paint it and in what colors over which areas of the head. So please keep 'em coming!

Or maybe I should just commission someone to do it....nah doing it myself would probably be fun...and I'd have a finished product I would be proud of at the end..

Personally, I'd make the mouthplate silver, the "headlight" yellow, and the vents on the cheeks black. Mayyyyyyybe make the cheeks yellow, but probably not.
