So I'm thinking of making a trade here but I'm not sure if the deal the sweet for me. So I'm trading my hot toys war machine for Reveal the shield Jazz, Tracks, G2 prime, Wreck-gar, perceptor, and classics starscream. Do you guys think thats a good deal?

No. I'd say War Machine is worth slightly more than those figures. Even if you say each deluxe is worth $20, then they only come to $120 whereas War Machine should be around the $150 mark?

    Bad deal for you IMO.

I wouldn't do it. Especially with most of those figures out at retail at 12 bucks a pop.

Yea, even though I am not into Hot Toys, just be patient and wait for these (other than Starscream) to hit retail. Unless you really don't like War Machine, or don't see yourself having the extra cash for retail transformers in the near future.

If the only thing making you consider this trade is the lack of new characters in your area, wait it out.

Not worth it unless you get a crap load more of TF toys initially offered. :D

I don't know a lot about what Hot Toy do, but from my understanding they do fairly limited, high ticket stuff.

The TFs you mentioned are all mass produced, and they're all easily available right now.

Starscream... has gone up in price a litlte, but it's still essentally a mass produced toy, and with a little patience you could probably still get one for a fair price.

Why would you trade for toys that haven't reached saturation yet?

Just give it a bit of time and the RTS stuff will be easy to find. I dont know what the toy you would trade is but if its value is 150 its not worth figures that have not had time to reach market saturation.

Hot Toys figures tend to appreciate in value very quickly. I personally wouldn't do it, that War Machine is a much more valuable figure. Also, besides Classics Starscream, all the other figures would turn up in brick and mortar stores for less than 15 each sooner or later.

No way. If you need some funds to buy those figures I think you could do better just selling your War Machine.

And I just got the gray Classics Starscream (mint as can be) for $15 shipped a week ago without doing much searching, so he's not even that pricey.

I just googled some images of that War Machine and that is one beautiful piece of plastic.

I wouldn't trade that for a bunch TFs that you can buy at retail.
